"They still would like to see you, Eggsy. You were the first boy I ever got along with in elementary school," Zoey admitted as she linked arms with Eggsy and smiled lightly, a small blush appearing on her face. "You know my parents would offer you a job in a heartbeat if you ask them," she suggested as she walked beside Eggsy. She knew that her parents wanted her and Eggsy to get together because they had liked each other when they were kids. Zoey never stopped liking Eggsy, but she did notice him always dashing his signature smile at other girls which made her roll her eyes every time. "And fighting is not always a bad thing," she explained, remembering how she was always trying to stay on top when Eggsy and her were in a fighting class together. She actually knew all of his moves and he knew all of her moves, but she would always trick him from time to time.

Eggsy sighed deeply, "alright, sure sure Zoey, you win... I'll see them I guess, but only for five minutes, yeah?" Thinking back to the time his father died and his mum got with Dean, they were more his parents than his own mum was. He did miss them and all they had done from him throughout time, so decided it was only polite to pay them a visit, the only thing putting him off was what he had become and the contrast between himself and Zoey.

They headed back to Zoey's shop to see her parents, opening the wooden door and the bell above it riiging to alert her parents of their presense.

Amber Segreti, Zoey's mother, looked up from the register and smiled widely as she saw Zoey walk in with Eggsy. "Eggsy! It's sooo wonderful to see you, dear," she said happily as she walked out from behind the counter and walked over to give Eggsy a hug.

"Sweetheart, who are you talking to?" a male voice echoed from the back room as Aaron Segreti walked out with a arm from of new clothes. He started to stagger a little bit before Zoey walked over and took the clothes from him. "Thank you, pumpkin," he said proudly as he nodded his head at his daughter before turning his attention to Eggsy.

"Your 'son' has returned," Amber teased happily as she pulled away from the hug and walked over to her husband. Aaron puffed out his chest as he walked over to Eggsy, looking the boy he once knew over.

"So he has. How have you been, Eggsy?" Aaron said with pride as he held out his hand for a handshake as he patted Eggsy's shoulder. Zoey smiled widely at Eggsy, giving him the 'I-Told-You-So' look as she stood next to her mother.

"Mrs Segreti, Amber! It has been a long time, too long." Eggsy nodded in agreeance as he hugged the small framed lady, although it had been an awfully long time, she hadn't changed. Neither had Aaron as he saw him make an appearance.

"I'm not bad Aaron, yourself?" He gave his second father a handshake served with a genuine smile. "How have you both been?" He didn't speak with the clarity he once had and his once good pronunciation had turned to street slang which had worsened over time.

"We've been good, just super busy with the shop and everything," Aaron admitted as he shrugged his shoulders as he walked over to the counter and leaned against it.

"And making sure this one finishes school," Amber teased as she nudged her eldest daughter, who rolled her eyes slightly at her mother and made a pout face. "But we've been always thinking about you. Zoey continues to talk about you like crazy," the older female admitted, making Zoey blush harder.

"Mom, cut it out. Eggsy's been dealing with his own stuff. He's been busy as well," Zoey explained, trying to get the conversation off of herself and on to something else. "Actually, Eggsy's looking for a job," she admitted as she smiled widely over at Eggsy, waiting for her parents' responses.

"A job? Dear, we would offer you a job in a heartbeat. You know that," Amber explained as she looked over at Eggsy, wondering why he didn't come to them for a job.

"Yeah, Eggsy. It's hard working with all these women half the time," Aaron joked, though he received a glare from both his daughter and his wife.

"Thank you, Amber, you too Aaron. But I don't think I'm exactly in a place to get a job at the moment." He admitted with a sigh, thinking about his mum being left home alone with Dean while avoiding Zoey's eye contact. "I do really appreciate it though, know I mean that. It has been lovely seeing you all though, it really has. I'll see you next week if not sooner Zoey, but I should probably be off now, it's getting late and it's not the safest place to be, out there when it's too late" Eggsy chuckled confidently, but he was nervous inside. Nervous what Dean had done to his mum, nervous about Shawn and the rest, nervous about the trainers he had stolen.

"You are coming next week, aren't you, Zoey?" He asked her now in a whisper, aside of her parents now as he headed to the door, proud of his efforts in disguising his bruises from Zoey's parents.

"Oh, well it was good seeing you, Eggsy. Now don't be a stranger now, dear," Amber said with a huge smile on her face as she waved to him before walking to the back room.

"And tell your mum we said hi, alright?" Aaron requested as he nodded his head at Eggsy before finishing at the register and following after Amber, leaving Zoey alone with Eggsy.

"Yeah, I'll be there next week. Marcus wants me to sing next week as well," Zoey said as she smiled widely at Eggsy before lowering her voice so only he could hear her. "And you call me if you need a getaway from Dean, yeah?" she requested even though it was more of begging him to call her.

"Ah I won't Amber. Sure will Aaron!" Eggsy called with a grin still before turning back to Zoey. "Yeah yeah, I will mum," he teased, nudging her. "I can't wait. It's been so good seeing you,
see you next week, yeah?" He gave her a quick hug before making his way out the door and sprinting back toward his own house, all the while looking around for the dangers and people he was avoiding. As he made his way into their home he was greeted by his mum first.

"Eggsy! Where have you been? I've had the police over here asking after you again." His mum now heard Dean emerge from the other room. "Please, Eggsy... You have to go, right now." She turned to look at the ground in guilt as Dean made his way in.

Zoey gave him a hug back before standing at the door watching him leave. "Be safe, Eggsy," she muttered softly as she stood at the front of the shop. The closed sign was up and her parents had turned off the light after they heard Eggsy leave. Zoey placed her head against the glass as she bit her lip nervously.

"You wanna go after him, don't you?" her mother's voice asked behind her as Zoey turned around to look at him. "He didn't hide his bruises very well, but we didn't want to say anything," Amber admitted to her daughter as Zoey just walked into her mother's arms, sobbing softly. "Oh, sweetie...I know you want to help him, but I know that Eggsy won't want you to get hurt," she admitted as she brushed her daughter's hair.

"I know, but Dean's been like this since day one," Zoey growled angrily as she pulled out her cell phone and texted Eggsy to let her know when he was safe at him.

Eggsy shook his head at his mum to tell her he wasn't leaving as he squared up to Dean, holding his head high and standing up straight as he heard his phone buzz on the worktop.

[Zoey: text me when you're how so I know you're safe] read the screen, cracked from a previous fight. Oh how he longed to pick up the phone to reassure her, but he couldn't, not now.

"Yeah Mugsy, listen to Mummy, run. Heard you was bothering Shawn and the boys, showing your ugly face at that other bar round here." Dean snarled, showing his broken teeth, yellowed from smoking, smashed from fighting.
