+ traits: an amazing swimmer (when she does swim), healer, and a very kind hearted person. She is very close with all of her clan members
- traits: her short fur puts her at a greater risk to get sick during the winter, so she cant swim when its hot outside. And while she is kind hearted, she can find herself getting easily frustrated when others are rude to her. She also has an awful sense of balance, as her tail is so short
history: Doetail was born a kittypet. She was born into a very fashion friendly home, and has her tail docked because of this. Her short fur shouldve made it very difficult, but because she was taken in by riverclan, she had support and was able to survive. She still struggles during the winter, but copes easily with her clan by her side. None of the other clans know she was a former kittypet, and her clan will refuse to tell them and has done so for many moons. At one point, she had an apprentice. However, the young shecat was found dead in the river five moons after she was assigned as a healer's apprentice. No one knows how.

Positive Traits: She is surprisingly good at comforting others and is very ambitious. She appears confident and makes a good leader when she tries.

Neutral Traits: Swiftstream could be considered an overachiever, as she is often striving to outdo others.

Negative Traits: She is more emotion driven, and seems to be a bit vain, especially about her eyes. She speaks without a filter, and is often described as pushy or bossy. Her biggest dream was to become leader, though she needed to mature quite a bit before she reached that goal.

Likes: The taste of fish, sticking her paws in running water, rolling in the mud

Dislikes: The smell of fish, waking up early, bright sunlight

Strengths: She is a very strong swimmer and fisher.

Weaknesses: Her hunting and fighting skills are severely lacking, due to her skipping.

Appearance: A dilute tortoiseshell with a van pattern. She has deep blue eyes and short but thick fur.

History: She was always a bit different from other kits. She loved mud, water, and fish, while the others hated it. She eventually distanced herself from the others, aside from Foxflower, because of their incessant teasing. She often skipped her training to go fishing or swimming. This caused her warrior ceremony to be delayed. She finally became a warrior at 20 moons and has had two apprentices.

Swiftstream happily followed her leader, proud that she had managed to get taken to the gathering. She was striving to become the deputy and, someday, leader, but for that, she needed Daisystar to notice that she was a noble warrior. Her Clan arrived at the island, crossing the tree bridge. As Daisystar jumped up next to the other leaders, Swiftstream mingled with the other Clan's. WindClan had not yet arrived, which let the warriors chat with each other for a bit. She eventually found herself next to the medicine cats. Her ears perked up in suprise as she noticed RiverClan's medicine cat, a she-cat with very short fur and missing a tail. She trotted over, waving her tail in greeting.

Riverclan had arrived a bit late, so Doetail quickly rushed over to the other medicine cats with a smile. She shivered slightly,
sitting calmly. However, she couldnt help jumping slightly as someone walked up beside her. " Oh, hello " she said softly, smiling gently as she turned to the shadowclan cat. She could tell right off the bat, although it was strange that she smelled vaugely of the river. She put one of her paws over the other, trying to get rid of the numbness on the pad of her left paw. The air wasnt too cold,
but the ground already was. She had no idea how her clanmates could swim during the winter. Although many had sleek, thicker coats. " I heard this meeting would be a bit calmer than the last. Hopefully its true " she said with a small laugh. The last gathering the clans had, two cats, one from thunderclan and one from riverclan, had gotten into a small scuffle. Its wasnt pretty.

Swiftstream chuckled, wincing slightly as she remembered the brutal fight. She noticed the she-cat covering her paw, and could already tell that her short fur was the cause.

"Are you cold?" She asked.

Without thinking, she wrapped her tail around the other she-cat and pulled her close, attempting to warm her up. She blushed slightly as she realized what she had done.

Doetail felt her cheeks heat up as she was pulled closer to the shecat. " Thank you " she said softly. She had to admit, the warmth of her fur really did help. Her large ears flickered hesitantly, worried her clan would get the wrong idea. " My name is Doetail " she added, smiling again. She was trying as hard as she could not tot ramble, as she tended to do so when nervous. She didnt even know why she was nervous at that point. " You're from shadowclan, right? A warrior im assuming. But you seem like a swimmer. Sorry if that makes me a bit nosy " she rambled, head tilted slightly.

Swiftstream smiled at the she-cat, noticing that she was actually quite cute.

"I'm Swiftstream." She meowed. "I do like swimming, though the rest of my Clan thinks me weird because of it."

She suddenly found it hard to swallow, and it seemed as if her heart was pounding. She was grateful for a distraction when WindClan finally arrived. The leaders began talking, and she tried to listen, but she couldn't stop thinking about how close she was to Doetail.

Doetail nodded, chuckling softly. Who wouldve known. She just came across probably the only shadowclan cat in existence that actually liked swimming.
" I only really swim in the summer, but it is quite enjoyable. " Before she could say anything else, the leaders spoke up, voices carrying across the large group of felines with ease. Thunderclan's leader, Owlstar, stepped forward first. He was a very small cat, but had a large heart. And as his spoke, his heart seemed to be heavy with worry.
" As leaf-bare approaches, prey is diminishing. However, we are keeping our stores as full as we can so that we stay well. Although it may be too late. A young apprentice within our clan is showing signs of white-cough. " Doetail gasped softly. Already? It was so early into the season. She began to worry for her own clan, as well as the others. This would probably break the clans further apart. She could already see cats leaning away from the thunderclan warriors.
