His eyes filled with tears as he placed his free hand onto Toby's cheek,"I love you. I do love you Toby. I wanted a normal life with you. I wanted to get married and adopt kids that's all I ever wanted" He felt tears pouring over his cheeks, "I don't want to break it of family with you but as the hero, the hero needs to die so the villain can live. We need to kill off shadow flier as a statement" he wiped his eyes

Toby's eyes widened. "If that's really all you've wanted then I'll make sure it happens. I promise." He wiped the tears off of Brendon's cheeks but felt his own eyes watering as well. He sighed in relief. He had hoped that Brendon wouldn't choose to let things go back, but he wouldn't have stopped him if he had chosen to be the hero again. "Kill him off?" He asked. "I think I have just the plan, then."

Brendon smiled and kissed him. Then he nodded, "It'll keep us both safe, we need to get rid of Shadow flier publicly." He smiled and kissed him again his arms around Toby's neck with a smile, "Would you marry me?" He raised an eyebrow

"And as soon as possible, if Barolo is really capable of what you think he is." Toby kissed him back and smiled, but as soon as Brendon asked the question he looked shocked. "Of course I would!" He exclaimed, "But not now. We've gotta make sure that we've got everything sorted out before something huge like that." He looked to Brendon, hoping that he wouldn't be disappointed.

Brendon nodded and pushed his hair back, "Om so what's our plan darling?" He kissed his cheek, "I can wait" He smiled and kissed him and ran a hand through hair with a short smile as he looked at Toby, "Do I have to make a public appearance with this?"

TOBY
Toby shrugged. "Kind of. I mean, you won't have to talk to anyone, but there will be a lot of people." He pushed his hand through his hair. "We'll have to find somewhere pretty busy with a building and we'll start to 'fight.'" He used air quotes around fight. "Then once Barolo shows, we'll go into the building, I'll cause a huge explosion. Then for suspense it'll be a minute before I pop out and you don't." He crossed his arms over his chest. "The trick is, you will have already left through a back entrance, and we'll only be blowing up the suit. And when they find the suit all blown into pieces, they'll assume Shadow Flyer was too. Sound like a plan?"

He smiled and nodded as he bounced on the couch. "I will do that and I will do it all for you. Besides Barolo isn't the saint everyone thinks he is" Brendon smiled softly at Toby and kissed him as he sipped his soup, "But that's for me to know" he kissed him quickly with a brief smile

Toby raised an eyebrow. "C'mon, you can't just say that and not tell me anything." He whined. "I even brought you soup." He pouted. He knew he was acting like a child, but so much had gone on in the past few weeks that he had had no time to sleep or anything, so he was a bit grumpy. He leaned into Brendon, resting his head on his boyfriends shoulder. "C'mon you gotta tell me something."

He smiled softly and kissed the top of his head, "Alright done, he uses city funds to fund his gambling addiction and a few other addictions as well, he isn't faithful husband and he takes bribes." Brendon smiled looking down at him, "Is that enough?" He laughed softly, "You also need a nap." He kissed the top of his head again

Toby gasped. "That is a lot of blackmail. Are you telling me you never once tried to threaten him with that? No wonder you're his hero." He smiled. "I'll sleep once I know that we're safe. After all, I have a message to record." He tapped his laptop.
