He looked at his phone and took a few deep breaths before staring to answer questions and move away be dismissing himselff and moving into a back alleyway collapsing the suit as he pulled his knees to his chest to breath in and out slow and easy. Just breath.

The Chief glared but didn't say a word as he looked straight into the eyes of the man. Who had shot him, "You won't win" He growled his voice low before he turned and walked inside

Toby's grin widened. "Whatever you say, buddy boy." He pushed his way back out of the crowd to look for Brendon. He peered into an alleyway, seeing Brendon curled up there. "Hey," he said softly, sitting next to him and pulling him into a hug. "It's okay. You did great." He ran his hands through Brendon's hair. "Thank you so much for doing that for me, babe. I know how much you hate crowds."

Brendon held onto Toby and breathed in and out his breaths shaky as he wiped his cheeks, "Sorry! I'm really really weak." He sniffles as he wiped his eyes and kept holding onto Toby as he tried to breath in and out and in and out, spots dancing in front of his vision, "I think I'm gonna pass out" He mumbled before he went limp in Toby's arms, he was still breathing in and out

"No, baby, you're the strongest guy I know." He panicked a bit when Brendon passed out and almost dropped him. "Okay." he sighed,
setting Brendon down and activating his suit. He then picked Brendon up and began the flight back home, trying his best to stay away from popular streets to avoid being seen, especially right when public outrage would be at its highest. He came in through the balcony door near the bedroom and laid Brendon on the bed, sticking a pillow under his head. He then deactivated the Vulture suit.

He groans from the bed and sat up holding his head, "Oh ow sweet Jesus my head is pounding" He moved from the sheets as he leaned back rubbing his temples. "Sorry darling" he rubbed his eyes as he looked over at Toby, "Did you fly me home? You're the best" He chuckled softly as he went to stand and the world spin around him and he stumbled back sitting on the bed holding his head

"It's no problem, nerd. You've helped me out so much lately, it's only fair." He smiled but looked quite concerned at Brendon tried his best to stand up. "No-nono. Sit down." He sat next to Brendon on the bed and put his arm around Brendon to stop him from falling over. "Want some water?" he asked quietly. "I'll go grab you some, okay?"

He rolled his eyes as he ran a hand through his hair as he leaned forward holding his head. "Water sounds great please" He lauded back on the bed and rubbed his temples he suddenly felt very very sick, he breathed in and out as he tried to focus as the room kept spinning, "Toby, I don't feel all that well I don't want to get you sick of you wanna head back to your place"

Toby hurried to the kitchen and filled a glass with water, plopping a few ice cubes in too. He handed it to Brendon and nodded. "Course. I'll check in on you later, bring you some soup." He said, heading out of the bedroom and waving. "Feel better, dear." He left the house, turning off the living room and kitchen lights as he went. He hailed another taxi, getting a ride to his apartment. He walked in, sitting on the couch and grabbing his laptop from underneath it. He browsed the internet for a while before laying down.
He didn't know how tired he was until just then, and he fell right asleep.

He woke up a few hours later and texted Toby almost immediately, Darlimg can you come over? I still don't feel good but I don't want to be alone.He sighed and hit send as he fell back o thenpillowsncoughing and he looked out his window with a short sigh, he just can't believe he got sick

Of course, I'll be right on over. I have something to show you. Toby texted back. He finished typing on his laptop, closing it and putting it into its carrying case. He looked into his nearly empty fridge and grabbed a van of chicken noodle soup for Brendon. Toby then went outside and hailed another taxi. He regretted never passing his driving test. When he got to Brendon, he pulled out the spare key that he had, walking in rather silently, as he didn't want to bother Brendon. "I'm here!" He called out. "And I've got soup to warm up."
