1x1 equestrian RP between SnowRunners and myself.
Nestled deep in the land of Darkshore, wild horses run rampant. Some end up grouping into herds, while others roam alone as rouges. The most prominent herd in the area is the Lorana herd, a diverse group of horses. Often they behave more like family than simply members of the same herd.
Darkshore itself is a land that is often shrouded in mist, making for very few sunny days. The ground can be very muddy in places, so the herds must watch their step and be sure not to get stuck. A majority of the land is forested, however there are some meadows where the herd can stop to rest.
There is also a large river running through the forest. The horses often refer to it as The White Death. The whitewater rapids are treacherous, especially for foals or elders. If one were to follow the river, it would lead to the ocean nearby. The beach has fairly soft sand and can be nice on certain days.
The landmarks themselves are not the only dangers in Darkshore. There are predators to beware of. Bears, pumas, wolves, and humans sometimes lurk about in the woods. However, the humans often come flying overheard in one of their whirlybirds.
Some of the herd will survive, and some of it wont. (So if you get tired of a character, rather than just dropping out with that particular character, let them go out in style ;3)
