Her gaze remained on the other wolf as she spoke, her form unchanging despite her mind whirling. She wanted to help this wolf, she really did, but she had her entire pack to think about. She was silent for several moments, thinking through her options. When she finally did speak, her words were slow, cautious. "Then you must realize that passing through this territory puts everyone within its land at risk, not just you." If this female was being followed, it would draw quarrel directly into her pack's front door. She released a heavy breath, knowing she couldn't stay away for long. This was no longer the peaceful walk that she'd envisioned. "If you want my help, then tell me what happened."
