Bramble

Postby IcedAntimony » Fri Dec 08, 2017 6:16 pm

Bramble

Gender: Female

Age: 3 years, 10 months

Romantic Orientation: Biromantic

Sexual Orientation: Bisexual

Relationships: Yew (Father-Deceased), Doe (Mother), Thistle (Brother), Sky (Brother-Deceased), Raven (Sister-Deceased)

Positive Traits: She is optimistic and playful, and will often try striking up conversation with others, even when she should be keeping her muzzle shut. She is also very intelligent and creative, and will become quick friends with most anyone who agrees to play with her.

Neutral Traits: She is very high-spirited and willing to bend rules, but will often become competitive if a game allows her to be.

Negative Traits: She is quite bitter about her siblings and fathers deaths and seems to hate humans with a burning passion. She can be a bit of a coward when it comes to dangerous situations, and her patience often wears thin.

Likes: Puzzles, riddles, mind tricks

Dislikes: Humans, guns, intense conflict

Strengths: Her long legs enable her to run faster than the average wolf, and her mental strength is a bit more advanced than others.

Weaknesses: Her physical strength is not as great as it should be, and her stamina is severely lacking.

Appearance: Mainly dark brown, with black ears, muzzle, and legs. The dark brown slowly transitions to white on her back. She also has white on her chest and belly. Her fur is very long and thick, and her eyes are a pale yellow. She has a stocky build, yet her legs are long, making her quite tall.

History: Her parents had left their old pack due to false accusations. Her mother held a grudge and was already a vicious wolf. Her father and brother were killed by humans, while her sister had slipped on a riverbank and fell, dying from the force of impact of hitting a rock. Her mother became even more bloodthirsty, and soon dragged her brother along with her. When Bramble refused to go along with their plans for revenge, they abandoned her.

Other: N/A

Cypress is a keen individual, picking everything up with a single, smooth glance at the situation. She's intelligent and confident, making her an ideal leader. She has no problem putting those in their place that have strayed from it, using her dominance with ease. Nonetheless, she's fair, calm, and collected. It's rare that one will see her visibly upset of frustrated, even though certain situations can wear on her mental state. She enjoys her rare opportunity of free time, spending it either at the river or the edge of the territory. She's surprisingly good with the young ones, often causing her pack mates to urge her to choose a mate and conceive her own.

She became alpha within the blink of an eye, a rivaling pack member sinking his teeth in her father's neck. Her mother had previously passed of natural causes, her siblings either left the pack or died. As the next of line, she had to command the pack before even mourning her beloved father's passing. She proved her worth, driving the other pack back into their own land with the help of her subordinates. While she occasional has spats with males who don't believe a female can run a pack without her mate, she has the majority's approval.

Bramble [1]

Postby IcedAntimony » Fri Dec 08, 2017 6:42 pm

Bramble

Bramble rolled over and yawned, the sleepiness still numbing her mind. The warm morning sun peeked through the tree branches, shining in her face and making her sneeze. While stretching, she contemplated what she should do. Hunting sounded good, but the fear that her mother might still be close by urged her to move away. Since she had last scented her mothers pack in the east, she decided she should move west. She jumped up and shook the sleepiness out of her fur and mind. She took off at a steady pace, not wanting to waste her energy.

Cypress [1]

Cypress
The alpha was on her morning walk, the time just before the sun rose one of her favorites. It was serene, quiet, and entirely hers, something that seemed so rare. After assuring that one of the betas had close watch over the pack, whom were mostly still sleeping, she'd taken off on her own. Padding leisurely along the rocky shore of the river, Cypress had her head tilted so she could watch the smooth flow of the water. She neared the edge of her pack's territory, but worried little, as there was no boarding pack in this direction for at least a few miles. A few loners were often spotted in that gap, but usually didn't bother them or remain there for very long.

Bramble [2]

Bramble

Bramble trotted through the forest, taking in the beautiful scenery. In her mothers pack, everything had seemed dark and gloomy, but here, everything was bright. Birds swooped low and seems to dance in the sky. Plants waved in the gentle breeze, and she could tell that this territory had plenty of prey. Or, at least, during the summer. Her stomach grumbled, reminding her that she hadn't eaten since the night before. Her nose twitched as she searched for the scent of any small animal. She heard, rather then smelled, a rabbit. It shuffled through the foliage and nibbled at the grass. Bramble slowly approached, making sure she was downwind. She felt like she was almost upon it when she lunged, successfully catching her breakfast. She scarfed down her meal, still nervous and trying to get as far away as she could.

Cypress [2]

Postby exempt » Sat Dec 09, 2017 2:02 pm

Cypress
The female paused at the edge of the water, swiping her paw across the surface and watching the ripples expand outward. Her ears perked, swiveling in the direction of a faint, far-out sound. She strained to hear it better, but it was little use. Turning, she hesitated for only a second, then padded towards the sound. She was somewhat cautious, her posture alert. It wouldn't be surprising if it were just some small mammal, a rabbit or a squirrel, but still, Cypress' natural curiosity got the better of her. Her paws brought her away from the river and deeper into the woods, out of her own territory. It took only a minute for her nose to pick up the scent of another female, along with the distinct smell of a fresh kill. Soon, a dark brown wolf was spotted in the distance, and Cypress slowed her pace. "What are you doing so close to our boarders? Most wouldn't dare to test the line." Her tone was not accusing nor cruel, simply firm and inquisitive. While the pack's scent faintly lingered this far, it was not their land, so this wolf was doing no harm.

Bramble [3]

Postby IcedAntimony » Sat Dec 09, 2017 2:37 pm

Bramble

Bramble had just finished the last of her rabbit, when a sudden voice made her jump. She whirled around and crouched, the fur on her back bristling and standing up. She spotted a black and white wolf, who didn't seem to be threatening her. She allowed herself to relax slightly, though she was still on guard.

"I'm sorry, I did not know that a pack lived here. I am merely passing through."

She dipped her head and blinked respectfully to show she meant no harm. Hopefully, this wolf would let her pass through without trouble.

Cypress [3]

Cypress
The wolf's reaction indicated that she had not realized Cypress' approach until she spoke up, causing the alpha to tilt her head just slightly. She had not been meaning to spook the female. Her eyes trailed over the other's figure, then met her gaze. "Not here, but less than half a mile back." she commented, nodding her head in the direction that she had come. If she were meaning to reach the other side, it would take days to make her way around, or surely spark trouble going through. "It would not be wise to travel much further. I'm not sure the pack would be happy with all they've gone through to keep the land." Cypress didn't mention the fact that she led that pack, nor that it would be her decision weather or not to let this wolf through. Were it to cause no questions, she'd have no problem with it, but she knew many of the others wouldn't look kindly on it. She sat, glancing around the area, then returning her full attention to the other female.

Bramble [4]

Bramble

"I have to reach the other side. It's very urgent." Bramble said with a pleading tone. She could not let her mother find her. If she did, she would kill her. But she didn't want to start trouble with another pack. One pack was already after her, she didn't need another to be offended and hunt her down too. Perhaps she could try to explain why she needed to go through. Leaving out certain details, of course.

"I am being hunted down by another wolf. If I do not distance myself, I will surely be killed."
