Damon chuckled softly and blew a kiss right back a soft smile on his lips, "You too angel eyes. I'll see you soon I promise."He drew an x over his chest with a flirty smile, "Cross my apparently dead heart."The mirror faded leaving just Isaiah.

Gabriel sighed as he tucked his clipboard under his arm and walked to the apartment. Zachariah was leaning against the door, the angel held a bored look in his eyes and Gabe raised a brow, "Whats with the look?"Zach chuckled softly, "I don't see why you couldn't just let him stay with my little brother. Damon ain't a bad kid. You cast him down just because he gave you one cross eyed look as a teenager."Gabe glared and snarled before he brushed past the angel and opened the door with a flourish, "How are you adjusting?!"

Once Damon was gone, Isaiah stared back at his own reflection for a while. He felt incredibly alone, even if there were plenty of other angels around.

Hearing voices outside, he turned away from the mirror and looked towards the door just as Gabriel made his dramatic entrance. Isaiah didn't reply, and simply glared up at him. He wished he had confidence like Damon did, but he had always been quiet and gentle.

"I want you to tell me why you did it," he spoke up, still ignoring the question. Before he tried to get out of here, Isaiah wanted some answers. "Why did you send him away all those years ago? We were just kids."

Gabriel looked a bit insulted as he looked at Isaiah. "He wasn't like the rest of us. He was disrespectful towards our rules and our ways. We were afraid that he would lead a rebellion so being who's I am I followed orders to cast him out."Gabe came into the house and sat down crossing his legs, "He needed to be stopped before he became worse. My question is, why do you care? He hasn't done anything for you?"

"Well I don't remember him that way," Isaiah answered, folding his arms across his chest. "I was his friend so I would know. He was good, and happy, and he cared. But you ruined that by sending him away." He watched as Gabriel sat down, sighing softly at his question. "I care because I love him. And he loves me," Isaiah continued, still standing. "When he found me he seemed... distant at first. Maybe a bit cold. But then he opened up and I saw he's still the same as I remember. He just wanted things to go back to the way they were, when we were young."

Gabe rolled his eyes and laughed softly "You're absolutely pathetic. Damon didn't have friends he had carefully crafted pawns." He pushed back his golden curls, "You think he truthfully fell in love with you? Ha. He played you! He wanted to get in here! You were one of his pawns as children and he's once again played the crap out of you Isaiah im here to help you see the truth, please.!Gabe's voice broke over the words as he once stood, "Come back to your family here we'll welcome you with open arms."

Isaiah chewed on his lip nervously as Gabriel scolded him. He didn't believe him - not really - but it still hurt. He didn't say anything in response, simply raised an eyebrow as the other angel's voice cracked while he ranted. "Who hurt you, Gabriel?" Isaiah asked once he was done, looking at him curiously. "Something's happened to make you think like this."

Gabriel scoffed at the younger angel's statement. Was he really going to ask who hurt Gabe,? Like he was a kicked puppy in need of a hug. He rolled his eyes, "No one hurt me Isaiah, I don't know what gave you that notion but I haven't ever been hurt." Course it was a lie and he had been hurt, pretty harshly as well. He looked back to Isaiah who was giving him the equivalent of a death glare. He crumpled and sat back down head in his hands, "His name was Johnathan. I met him when I was an ambassador between heaven and hell, he was sweet, charming and god he was gorgeous, but it was all an act. The more he sweet talked me the more likely I was to listen to his ideals, and it nearly cost heaven a good many soldiers, I vowed never to let anyone's else get hurts be a filthy demon. Happy?" He looked up with a glare

His gaze softened as Gabriel explained what had happened. Isaiah knelt down in front of him, before quietly slipping his arms around the other angel. Maybe a hug was the last thing he wanted, but Isaiah was going to give him some comfort anyway. "I'm so sorry that happened to you," he said gently, pulling away to look at Gabriel. "That's awful, and you deserve much better."

Isaiah sat down opposite Gabriel, looking across at him. "But you can't just tar everyone with the same brush," he pointed out, not unkindly. "I trust Damon with my life. I don't believe he would ever hurt or use me." Isaiah ran a hand through his hair, thinking carefully about his words. "All I want is to settle down on earth with Damon. I promise you that if anything happens I would come straight home." He had a wistful smile on his face. "I'd be so grateful if you just gave us a chance, Gabriel."

Gabriel stiffened as Isaiah hugged him but sighed and hugged smaller angel, "Thank you.."He sighed as Isaiah made a convincing point, the last thing the angel wanted was to see this kid upset because in all truth Gabe could see how much the pair cared for each other. He sighed and rubbed his eyes, "Fine as long as you promise that you'll return to us if anything ever goes south."Gabe snapped and Damon appeared with a short. He turned and blinked more in shock and he nearly tackled Isaiah in a hug holding the angel close, "Jesus Christ you work fast" Damon kissed Isaiah and kept holding him, "Time moved so different in hell it felt likes years..."

Isaiah was practically beaming when Gabriel agreed to let him go. "Thank you so much," he grinned, reaching over to tightly hug the older angel once more. "I promise," Isaiah agreed, standing up in time to see Damon appear.

"Damon!" he exclaimed happily, nearly stumbling backwards when the demon all but tackled him. Isaiah returned the kiss, and then rested his head on Damon's chest, feeling as if he were about to cry in relief. "Gabriel said that we can stay on earth," he told him, looking up with tears in his eyes but a wide smile across his face.
