Bird wiped the bit of drool still on his face, first, he looked at the direction of the sleeping quarters. Probably still sleeping, most of Hufflepuff has picked up the habits by now. He made a whining noise when he heard an audible pop in his neck and then a sigh of relief before he realized he wasn't alone in the common room. After standing up, he crept over towards where Phoebe currently resided in the comfy armchair. Opting to not scare her senseless he just leaned over. "So you come here often??" Of course, he ended up covering his nose after realizing she had her kitten in her lap. Bird's attention was then caught by the book she was holding, seems like it's from Herbology. Although it didn't seem like any of the standard textbooks every student has access too- it didn't even look like a textbook.

It took Robin just a few more moments after Emris sat down to actually notice her. Of course, he didn't really acknowledge her presence in favor of the book. After he flipped the final page, having read the entire thing over the course of the night, he sat up. Blinking the eyes that stared at words for a good seven to eight hours, he gathered the book and joined his fellow Slytherin on the couch. Before he could really say anything though someone exiting from the Bathroom areas, he peeked over his shoulder before turning back to Emris. In a faint whisper "Hey, who's Mr. Grumpy face over there?" It was meant to be more of a joke but he was honestly curious, usually, he was one of the last ones up so he didn't really get to see his fellow Slytherins in the common room very often. Defiantly not to know them on a first name basis anyway.

Phoebe flinched, her head whipped to the side and she quickly closed her Herbology book causing eris to prickle up and scurry off her lap with a hiss. Phoebe felt her face warm up, "ah, you scared me" she gasped, one of her hands lept to her heart, trying to calm her nerves as she finally recognized the other hufflepuff, she ran her hand over the hard cover of her book, a small laugh escaped her lips as she fixed her glasses.

Erebus sent a glare over to the two slytherins sitting on the couch, overhearing the murmuring. He sighed and picked up his bag, Erebus quickly exited the common room and made his way to the great hall, his stomach rumbling for food as the thick aroma of bacon, eggs and toast filled his nose.

I stifled a laugh at his question until Erebus left. “That was Erebus.” I said with a smile, looking at him. “He was my friend at the beginning of the year.. then i tried to kill Bird accidentally and yeah. Not such great friends anymore.” I stated, looking down at my letter with a sigh. “So what book were you reading?” I asked, changing the topic.
