FNL: 5 Year Reunion (w/ velvet melodies.)

After 10 minutes on the road, Lottie was quickly knocked out in her chair. She hasn't gotten much sleep that morning, it was one of those restless days. She lightly snored in her chair as Maroon 5, country and rock played out the entire trip. Luckily for her, Lucy let her sleep, instead of poking her the entire time. Lucy knew she was exhausted, so she left her alone. However, when they made it into Preston, that's when it started. Lucy lightly poked her arm, and after a few pokes, Lottie was sluggish but awake. She looked around in confusion. "... Whuut?" She let out, very confused on where she was, and having forgotten what they were doing. Lucy snickered as she glanced at her, and then looked back on the road. "I'm sorry to bother you. Just thought I let you know it's time." She declared, and then that helped Lottie wake up, as she looked out the window to see familiar signs. The ones you see right before you enter Preston. She looked at Lucy, and Lucy to her, as they both smiled.

As she parked in the parking lot of an empty, abandoned gas station, Lucy nodded to Lottie to let her know that it was time to put the disguise back on. Lottie had an annoyed look on her face, but obeyed, and and threw her hair into a braid, tucked it into the back of her shirt, wrapped the scarf around her head, put the sunglasses on her eyes, and got out of the car. Lucy nodded in approval, as she got her stuff, and got out of the car as well. They both went to the trunk, Lottie opened it up, and she dragged her stuff to her car on the other side of the parking lot. Two of their friends drove Lottie's car, cause they knew she would crash if she drove, because of how tired she is. That, and she can't be spotted with Lucy, disguise or no disguise. If she is, that's just one step closer to people figuring out who she is. Luckily, there was a rental car in the same place they ordered, so they can just leave after Lottie makes it there. And that's what they did. They left, and Lottie close the trunk to her car, while both of the sisters got inside their cars. First Lottie left, so it'll look like they're different people from different places. Then, after half an hour, Lucy was soon back on the road.

As the flight went on, Autumn eventually fell asleep, as her head was gently leaning on the headrest of the plane seat. Eventually, the plane came to a halt when it landed, and that scared Autumn awake. She looked around as if she was still on the plane in the Army about to go to war. Then, she sat back in relief, as she took off her seatbelt, and got out of her seat. She got all of her stuff she brought inside the plane, and unboarded the plane with the rest of the people that were on the flight.

D'Andre

Talking with several people he didn't know helped D'Andre's flight go by a lot quicker. In what seemed like no time at all, his flight arrived in Dallas. Sure, it was about a 4-hour flight, but having people to actually talk with made it seem like it didn't even last an hour. Once he got up, he told them it was great to talk to them and then started to make his way off the flight. He knew it was only an hour or so from the airport back home. He went to collect his luggage and once he collected his, he started to make his way to the parking lot, where he knew he had a rental car waiting for him.

Jermaine

Once he walked outside, the cool air blew against his skin and he took it in. He stepped down the stairs and down the walkway to the sidewalk, where he began to start his run through the small city.

Joseph

A few hours had passed and Joseph's flight had arrived in Dallas. He had his home within Dallas as well, so he knew he'd be stopping by there before making his way back to Preston for the weekend. As the flight landed, he was tapped on his shoulder by the flight attendant. He woke up and heard the pilot announce they were landing and he knew he was going to have to get his things and get around to finding a way back to his house. The plane soon landed, and everyone was free to get off, which he did. He made his way to the terminal where his luggage was to be gathered. He picked up his bag and then pulled his phone out to request an Uber from the airport to his house. It took about 15 minutes, but someone finally arrived and he got in to ride back home.

By 15 minutes, Lottie was at the hotel. She parked in the parking lot, and turned off the car. She made sure no one was looking, and she opened the door, tossing herself off the chair, getting her stuff, and closing it. She went to the trunk, opened it, got her stuff, and closed it. By then, she was hurrying inside the hotel. Luckily, no one was suspicious. So she was able to get her key, and make it to her room safely. When she did make it to her room, she made sure the door was extra locked and the windows were closed, along the shades, and she began taking off her disguise. It was off with her scarf, sunglasses, and braid, and she sighed in relief as she flopped down on one of the comfy chairs in the room.

30 minutes later, Lucy was also at the hotel. However, since she didn't feel a need to hurry because she was recognized everywhere she went, she took her time getting her stuff. She basically did everything that Lottie did. Except when she got inside, she was greeted by a few fans, and she took some times to give autographs, take pictures and just talk before she went up to her room. When she did, she couldn't help smiling at the sight of her hometown. She was so happy to be home. Imagine all she and Lottie can do while they're here. They could go to old restaurants, meet with old friends, everything. She was excited for it.

D'Andre

Once D'Andre got to the rental car, he saw someone standing next to it and he figured he worked with the rental car agency, so he showed ID and everything before loading his luggage in the trunk in the back. The agent explained that he'd have to head back to the agency so they could fill out the last of the paperwork, then the car was his for the weekend. Nodding, D'Andre got into the passenger seat and scooted it back to give him some leg room before they started to head away from the airport.

It took about 20 minutes to get to the agency, where D'Andre was told which car he'd be driving and other details included. All he really needed to do was sign off on a few things and the keys were his. He did so, moved his things to the trunk of the BMW M5 he'd be driving, then climbed in and got a feel for the car before plugging in his aux cord and took off. After taking another side road, he then got on the highway and started heading to Preston.

Jermaine

By that time, Jermaine had finished his run and stepped back on the walkway up to the front door. Even though he had no obligation to stay in shape, with his playing career over, he still liked to keep in shape. He walked back up the path to the front porch and walked inside, making his way to the kitchen and sat down at the table to cool off for a few minutes.

Joseph

As Joseph arrived back home, he arrived to his ex sitting in the driveway. Even though they were no longer together, they did share custody of their daughter, and Joseph had been given their daughter for the weekend. They talked some things over, caught up for a few minutes as they walked inside, then told each other their goodbyes for the next few days before he got everything packed up that he'd take with him. It didn't take long, but he did make sure he had enough diapers, clothes, and food for the baby and once everything was set up, he set everything in the back of his Ram before covering the truck bed up. He loaded his daughter in the back seat then hopped in the driver's seat and drove away from his house.

D'Andre

A little over an hour later, and just barely into the afternoon, D'Andre finally arrived at the sign that welcomed people to Preston. He pulled into the same abandoned gas station just barely into town and sent a short text message to Lottie. Hey baby, I just got into town. I'll be there soon. He wasn't one who liked to drive and text at the same time, which explained why he pulled to the side of the road. Even though he knew he had an extra room with his parents, he also wanted to stay at the luxury resort north of town, which was really close to the nearby lake. He then put his phone back in the cupholder and continued to drive along the main road to the resort.

Jermaine

After Jermaine had some time to cool down, he headed back upstairs to take a shower. He knew some of his old high school buddies were coming back into town for the first time in a long time, and he hadn't had lunch, so he figured he'd be able to meet up with some of them at one of the local diners, assuming they had arrived. He stepped in the shower and started to cleanse himself of the sweat that popped up across his body during his run.

Joseph

As for Joseph, he'd also be staying at the same resort, which brought back many memories for him. This was one of the first places he sang at when he was beginning his career in high school. As he drove up to and through Preston, he looked around and saw so many places he remembered going through while growing up. Although it was small, he still had so many memories of the place. He couldn't wait to show Finley around, especially once he decided to pay his family a visit while in town.
