Marinette sat next to Adrien. “Yeah. Ladybug is really amazing. I don’t think you missed much. Chloe was pretty worried you didn’t show up to class. But then again, I think everyone was worried. Marinette blushed. “I’m sure Ladybug can handle akumas if they show up. The important thing is for Chat Noir to rest. And you work on getting better too. If you don’t feel up to it, don’t go to school tomorrow. I actually don’t mind helping you out at all.”She said

🐾🐱 looking over at marinette as she sat next to him he just offered a soft smile and nodded, his eyes lighting up at the mention of ladybug. "yeah, she really is. paris is lucky to have her. Oh? Well, im sure everyone ha da big shrine of me to look at," he laughed softly, shaking his head a bit at how ridiculous he had sounded but it was nice to just joke around sometimes and not be as serious as he had seemed. he awkward shifted a bit to wrap his arm around her for a moment, nervously looking away hoping she didn't mind what he was doing. but as soon as he had gotten the courage to do so he quickly retracted his arm and laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck and looking away from marinette nervously. "yeah, i'm sure ladybug can handle anything...." he gasped out, his eyes shining. he knew how amazing ladybug was first hand and he only hoped that she could do better without him as chat noir. he just.. needed some time to himself. time to rest up. he was sure he was going to be extremely sore for the next couple of days. "i'm sure chat noir will be fine; he seems to bounce back quite quickly. really? well, i'm sure father wouldn't like me missing school so much..but thank you, marinette, really. you're an amazing friend and im so thankful for everything you do for not only me but everyone else in the school. i admire your strength."

Marinette blushed when Adrien wrapped his arm around her. She really didn’t mind it, but was surprised when he retracted it. As soon as he mentioned a shrine, she thought about all of the photos in her room. “Well I just like to try and help everyone when I can. It’s the thought that counts.” She said. “I’m sure your father would hate for you to risk getting anyone sick at school. I think you’ll bounce back fast.” She added with a smile.
