tristan nodded with a smile, listening to ashton and humming. "my day was alright. i ran into someone i would have preferred not to, but it is alright," he mused, turning his head as the waiter arrived with their food, saying his thanks and inhaling the delicious smelling meal. "it smells quite amazing." he spoke to his boyfriend.

Ashton frowned when his boyfriend said he saw someone he did not want to. "I know you saw my dad... he texted me about it. I am sorry if it went really bad. He won't stop talking about it." He said to him. He was worried about his boyfriend and what would happen if they ran into each other again. He did not want him to get hurt by his father. "Yes it does. You can try mine if you would like." He said to him.

tristan sighed softly as ashton mentioned his dad texting him. "i am sorry he won't leave you alone," he murmured apologetically, reaching out to gently grab and squeeze his hand. as he mentioned tasting the other's food, tristan shrugged, grabbing a little forkful of his and smirking. "let's be cliche," the man mused softly, waggling the fork in the air.

Ashton smiled and took his hand. "It's okay. You can't control him. I hope he was not too mean to you." He said to him. "He is usually not to pleasent." He said to him. "At least lately but enough about him. Let's enjoy our lunch." He said and laughed when he said what he did. He took his own fork and got a bite of food and held it out to his boyfriend and took a bite of it. "That was really good." He said after he swallowed.

tristan shook his head with a hum. "it's alright, he didn't offend me or anything." he assured the other male. tasting ashton's food, he nodded. "that is very good as well." he mused happily before taking a bite of his own food, nodding. "i like this place." tristan then declared, pausing to take a sip from his glass of water.

"Okay good I was worried that he might. He is really hard to control." He said to his boyfriend. He was glad that his boyfriend liked it because he really did too and was hoping that they could come back sometime soon. "I really do too. It is really good." He said to him and ate. When he finished, he waited patently for his boyfriend as he drank his water.

tristan gave ashton a reassuring smile. "don't worry, i didn't let him get to me." he murmured softly. as he ate, his stomach soon filled up once his plate was done, wiping his mouth with a napkin before looking to ashton and sipping at his own water.as the waitress came by with the check, he handed her his card and she headed off again, soon returning and giving tristan his card back. tristan slipped it in his wallet before looking to ashton. "ready?"

Ashton smiled a little so glad that he had him as a boyfriend. His last boyfriend would have left by just meeting his dad. He looked at Tristan when he pulled out his wallet and paid. "I would not have minded paying." He said to him and nodded when he asked if he was ready. He stood up and walked out after taking Tristan's hand happily. He kissed his cheek as he walked out seeing that the media had just shown up at the restaurant. He looked over at Tristan glad they were asking Tristan all the questions so he did not have to answer anything. He did realize most were about him but he tried to ignore them and walk to the car.

tristan shook his head. "i do not mind paying, either." he responded with a small smirk, rising to his feet and lacing their fingers together, exiting the restaurant with his boyfriend and sighing softly at the media. "i'm sorry," he murmured apologetically to ashton, wrapping an arm around the male's waist to keep him close as questions rang out from all over the place. he simply kissed ashton's temple as they walked, opening the door for the male before closing it and heading to his side, sliding in. "anywhere else you need to go?"

Ashton smiled at him and shrugged. "Don't worry about it. I know that you can't control them. Things will die down eventually." He said to him. He stayed close to his boyfriend. Ashton smiled as his temple was kissed. He loved it. He shook his head. "No I think that I have everything that I need." He said to him. He watched as someone who was backing up to get a better shot tripped over their camera cord that was connected to their car. He looked over at Tristan. "We can just go home. I know you probably still have work you need to finish." He said to him.
