The Summer House

Jackson shrugged at her while sipping his coffee. "Would you have woken me up?" He asked.

Ariana looked over at Xander. "I was the first one up. I already had breakfast and went on a walk.I was just waiting for you guys to get up." She told them as she sat down at the table.

[Berenice.]

“Of course I would’ve woken you up. I’m not that mean. But obviously you are. I hope you’re sorry.” Eliza answered, taking his coffee out of his hands and having a sip, before giving it back to him.

Xander looked quite surprised. “Already up? You did all of that before we got up? You do realise his is a vacation. You don’t have to get up early. Well... sorry to keep you waiting your highness.” He laughed.

Jackson watched her drink his coffee. He put his hand up so she couldn't give it back to him. "No thanks. You can keep it." He told her.

Ariana looked at the clock. "It's almost 12. I didn't wake up that early." She told him.

[Berenice.]

Eliza shook her head and forcefully gave him back the coffee. “No, I don’t want it. I only had a sip. It’s not like I have a disease or anything.” She replied, looking offended as she thumped his shoulder. Eli slid off the counter and went to get dressed, walking with a bit of a temper.

Xander shrugged. “I guess not. But you kind of did at the same time. Anyway, do you have anything in mind you want to do today?” He asked.

Jackson finished off the coffee and set the mug in the sink. After Eli left he too went to his own room to change. He had been so tired last night that he just slept in his clothes from that day.

Ariana shrugged at him. "I don't really care. I'm just here for something to do." She looked at him.

[Berenice.]

After she was dressed, Eli walked out of her room and stood by Jackson’s door, before knocking on it continuously. “Jackson, Jackson, Jackson.” She repeated, her aim to be as annoying as she could. “Will you come shopping with me? I need new shorts and I don’t want to go by myself.”

Xander thought for a while. “Well, I guess we should go and get to know other people. We can’t just spend our vacation as just the four of us. How are we supposed to throw parties like that?” He smirked, washing the mugs they had just used.

Jackson opened the door so she would stop knocking. "Okay, okay." He said grabbing his stuff. "But why didn't you ask Ariana?" He asked as he headed down the stairs.

Ariana just looked at him blankly. "Parties?" She asked. "I don't see the need to meet new people. Why can't you just be happy with hanging out with us?" She asked quietly.

[Berenice.]

“Because she’s too busy flirting with Xander and don’t tell her I said this, but I like you a lot more. I think I annoy her way too often. I don’t care if I annoy you, you’re just going to have to deal with it. I also wanted to take you shopping as well since most of your clothes are stuff my dad would wear if he was trying to be cool.” She replied and smirked.

Xander arched an eyebrow at her. “Oh come on. Don’t tell me you weren’t expecting to throw a party in this house? And obviously we will have to know people to throw a party. Think of it like this, we get a Summer house all to ourselves, why not take that advantage and throw a party? Please don’t tell me you don’t like parties.”

Jackson smiled brightly at her. "Well I'm flattered princess." He said as he got to the bottom step. He looked down at his clothes. "Ouch. I can feel the burn." He laughed thinking it was funny. "Come on. Let go." He opened the front door for her.

Ariana shook her head at him. "I don't like parties. Parties are not my thing." She said. "People are not my thing." She stood up and went into the fridge and grabbed a soda. "I get anxious being around a lot of people." She admitted softly.

[Berenice.]

Eliza followed him out the door. “It’s also just an excuse to get out of there since both of them are boring me. But it’s true that I want to upgrade your wardrobe since I’ve seen Xander wear better clothes... and that’s saying something!”

Xander shook his head. “I’ve known you for years. But you won’t get anxious because I, the one and only, will be with you the entire time! I’m sure you’d love it. Eli definitely would. I’m not sure about Jackson.”
