”I forgot about those rooms! Oh well, I don’t care. I won’t be spending much time in my room anyway.” She was kind of talking to herself, but not at the same time. Her room had its own bathroom and a double bed, so maybe it wasn’t as nice as the others, but honestly that was the least of her concern. Eliza began unpacking everything, filling up all the available space in her room and then throwing her empty suitcase out the door. She was pretty careless at times and now was one of those times. Once she had sorted everything, Eli was now bored. It didn’t take long for her to become bored. ”Ugh there’s nothing to do!” Eli exclaimed, then trudged into the kitchen and raided the cupboards. ”Do you like pancakes?” She called to Jackson from the kitchen, hoping he heard her.

Jackson unpacked his bag and looked around his room a bit. It was a really nice place Xander picked out. He looked out the window to the balcony. It looked out over the white sandy beach with big rolling waves. They looked like good surfing waves, even though he has never been surfing. But what better time to try than over the summer. He took one deep breath and slowly let it out before turning and heading out the room and down stairs. He heard Eliza in the kitchen and walked over to the door way. Not even two seconds of standing there and she yelled a question to him. "I like pancakes." He told her. He walked over the counter and leaned against it. "want me to help?" He asked.

”Yes because I have no idea what I’m doing, I just fancy some pancakes.” Eli answered, then got a recipe up on her phone. ”Seems straight forward.” Eliza very quickly made some pancake mix then put it in the pan, but didn’t know what to do next. ”How are you supposed to know when one side is cooked enough? This was a stupid idea.” Eliza tried to get the ‘pancake’ off the pan, but it was stuck there. She had never been good at cooking so this wasn’t that much of a surprise. ”Something’s telling me I’ve burnt it. Oh dear, I can’t even make a pancake.”

Jackson watched her first attempt at making a pancake. He kept quiet to see what she would do. Laughing at the outcome he stood up. "Here, let me show you." He said. He removed the pan from the stove top and grabbed a clean one. He sprayed the bottom of the pan with some non-stick spray. He scooped up some batter with the ladle and took the spatula from Eli. There were some bubbles starting to appear on top. "So what you want to do is watch for these bubbles and just take the corner of the spatula and lift up a part of the pancake to look under it. You don't want to lift up to much of the pancake of you could ruin it." He lifted of part of the pancake as he explained. It was a light golden brown color. "Now see, that is the color of perfection. Now all you do is get the spatula all the way under the pancake and lift and flip it over. If when you flip it over and you think its not quiet done, wait for this side to finish cooking and just flip it back over." He told her. He set the pancake on a clean plate and handed her the spatula. "Now you try."

(idk if I explained it to much or not. lol)

Eliza rolled her eyes as she thought making pancakes was simple. ”That looks like way too much effort. I don’t cook very often. Can you tell?” She laughed but did the things that Jackson did. Her resulting pancake obviously wasn’t as good as his, but it was a start. ”Well, I mean, it’s a start isn’t it? It looked straight forward in the videos I watched. Next time I’m ordering takeaway or something. Hope you’re alright Witt that because I can’t cook at all.” She told him, taking a piece of her pancake and eating it. It tasted nice so she didn’t really care how it looked.

    Short post, sorry.)

Jackson watched her cook and looked at her end result. He tried his best not to laugh because he didn't want her to think he was making fun of her. "That's good for someone who has never made pancakes before." He gave her a kind smile and ate his pancake. "And takeout is fine with me, but I do make some awesome food, so I don't mind cooking." He told her. "What do you like to do for fun?" He asked trying to start a conversation with her. They have to spend two days alone with each other anyways, so might as well try and get to know her.

”You make awesome food you say? Don’t get too ahead of yourself. Maybe if I learn, I will be able to cook better than you.” She smirk and pushed her empty plate away. ”I like to travel, and party. I can’t say I’m the most interesting person to know, so what about you? And where did you learn how to cook? I should practice if I want to be better than you.” Eliza grinned, before getting up and cleaning her plate.

Another short post because I was rushing it. I will get longer replies soon I promise >.<)

Jackson laughed a bit and set this plate on the counter. "I learned how to cook from my dad. He loved to cook." He told her. "I love to be active weather that's going of a walk or playing sports. I also really like to try new things. So I guess you can call me adventurous." He added on. He walked over to the sink and washed his plate. Grabbing a towel he dried off the plate and put it away where he found it.

”How do you have the motivation for sport? I know I don’t.” Eliza laughed, then walked into the living room and jumped on the couch, taking up most of the room so she was comfortable. ”Do you know if there’s a beach bar around here or something? I refuse to stay in this house all day. That’s something I do back at home, not on vacation.” After speaking, Eli quickly jumped up to get changed into something more wearable considering the heat.

Jackson looked at her "Well, how do you have the energy to go partying?" He asked with a small grin on his lips. As for the bar question, he just arrived same as her, so he didn't know about any bars around where they are. He followed her into the living room as he looked on his phone for some bars. Sitting in a chair on the opposite side of the living room, he got a few results. "There are three bars within and five mile radius." He yelled to her since she went to her room.
