The Summer House

A group of friends decide to rent a beach house together for the summer. Due to a terrible thunderstorm on the day that everyone is supposed to arrive, only Muse A and Muse B show up on the first afternoon. Weather conditions become so poor that the roads are closed and the rest of their friends aren’t able to make it until the storm clears up (2 days later). On their own for the first weekend, Muse A and Muse B bond, exploring the house, cooking together, talking until morning, becoming very close the night before everyone else arrives.

>History: At the age of 7 her mom and dad went out on there anniversary, she Ariana stayed at her grandparents house that day. Jackson had just gotten out of the cab that dropped his off in front of the beach house. His friend Xander had invited him to come along on this trip. Two girls were supposed to be on this trip too. At least, that's what his friend told him. He looked around briefly before getting the key out of his pocket and heading to unlock the front door to this house. Only him and Xander had keys to the house. He stepped inside and set his luggage on the floor next to him. He took a few minutes to look around the place where he would spend his next 3 or so months.

Meanwhile there was a nasty storm brewing near the city. Flights into the city and out of the city were being canceled.

IN A TOTALLY DIFFERENT STATE, WHEREVER ARIANA IS....

Ariana was at the airport in chair waiting to board the plane. Over the speaker she heard "Flight 234 heading to ___, is canceled because of weather conditions. Anyone boarding this flight may visit the service desk for a refund on their tickets. Thank you and have a nice day." Ariana rolled her eyes "S***." She grumbled. Her language made a mother stare at her before getting up and moving her two kids down a few rows. With a sigh she got up and went to the service desk. She talked to a nice lady and explained to her about how her friend was waiting for her there and the trip they had planned. "I'm sorry about all of this, but because of the weather conditions there all flights heading there are canceled for at least for the next two days." Ariana rescheduled her tickets for that date and pulled out her phone. She texted her friend. 'Hey, my flight was canceled and I cant get another one for two days.'

It was about an hour after Jackson arrived that Eliza did. She was so excited that she practically burst out the cab, dragging her luggage across the floor without a care in the world if she damaged her suitcase. Eli knew she wasn't given a key, so she was hoping someone was already there so the door was open. She would find some sort of way in anyway so it wasn't a worry. After pretty much charging into the house, obviously way too excited, she then got a text which made her curse loudly. "Why was your flight canceled? Two days isn't that bad but it's still annoying that your flight has been canceled." Eliza texted back, then put her phone away so she could look around without any distractions. It looked as if someone was there already.

Xander huffed in annoyance as he waited in line to get another ticket for the holiday. Airports annoyed him anyway, but the fact that his flight had been canceled made him even more irritated. "Flight's canceled because of a storm. Won't be there until two days time." He sent the text to Jackson, just before getting his new ticket and heading back home.

Jackson was in the kitchen exploring when he heard someone walk in. He walked over to the door way of the kitchen and into the living room where a girl was standing. He had never met the two girls that were supposed to come so he assumed that she was one of the two. "Hello." He said. He had a slightly deep voice which sounded a little loud because he the hallway to the rooms was behind him.

Ariana read her Eli's text to herself. She hailed a cab and put her bag inside. She told the cab driver where she needed to go and with that she was off. "There is supposed to be a bad storm over there. All flights to and from the city are canceled because of it. It really is p*ss*ng me off." She replied.

Eli looked at her phone again and frowned. "Oh, yeah. That's probably what everyone was talking about. The storm. But don't get too mad over it. It's not worth getting annoyed over." She replied to Ariana. Because Eliza was concentrated on her phone, Jackson's voice made her jump a little bit as she wasn't paying attention. "Oh, hello! My name's Eliza and yours is?.." She didn't know this guy but was told there would be someone she had never met before at the house, so she was guessing it was Jackson. "Do you know anything about this storm holding the other two up?" Eliza asked before she gave him a chance to answer her first question.

Jackson gave her a small smile "I'm Jackson. It's nice to meet you Eliza". He said. He stepped more into the living room and grabbed his backpack from off the floor. While he was putting it on his shoulder he hear Eliza's question about the storm. "Umm... I heard someone say something about a storm. But I cant say that I know about this storm." He explained. He looked around looking for the TV remote. Picking it up off the coffee table he turned it on and flipped it to the news channel. There a newscaster talked about the coming storm, where it was going to hit and about when they expect it to be over by. "Wow." He said. "Sounds like its going to be a big and bad one, but its just going to miss us. The worst we are going to get is rain."

Eliza looked at the tv and narrowed her eyes. The fact that weather was stopping her friends from getting there kind of made her mad. ”Well, has Xander at least told you they won’t be here for the next two days? Ugh, I was expecting us all to go and party on the first night, but it looks like that’s not happening.” She huffed then looked at Jackson, before squinting her eyes and raising her eyebrows. ”Oh cool! Your eyes are like two different colours! I’ve never seen that. Anyway, have you grabbed a room yet? Because I wanna get the best one.” She explained, quickly rushing off with her suitcase recklessly dragging behind her, bashing it in every corner. Once she had gotten herself a room, Eliza walked back to the living room and began thinking to herself what they could do to pass time until the two days were up and the others arrived.

Jackson shook his head. "I haven't heard anything from Xander since yesterday." He told her. "A party does sound fun but I'm sure we will find something to do for the next few days." He said. He laughed as she breezed past him down the hallway. He hadn't claimed a room yet, and he wasn't mad that she wanted first dibs either. He walked up the stairs and opened a door to a bedroom. It had a queen sized bed, its own bathroom and a balcony. "I think the bedrooms might be nicer up here." He yelled down to Eliza. Placing his stuff on the bed he kicked off his shoes and changed his shirt. He was wearing a light long sleeve shirt and changed to a short sleeve shirt that had a surf board on it. You could see his tattoo now that he had this shirt on.
