Colton nodded to himself with a slight, easygoing smile as he looked over his schedule with her. Well, going in, he knew someone, and had classes with them; if nothing else, he was off to a good start. "Nice," he said amicably, and looked back at her with that same bright smile. "It's kinda nice to know someone going in. I lived in Hubbard my whole life, so this is a pretty big change, and I still don't really know what to expect," he explained. He had a feeling they'd be good friends; Colton got along with just about everyone, but some people he clicked with better than others, and it seemed that Maggie was one of those people he clicked well with. He missed everything he'd left behind in Hubbard, but he kept a positive attitude and was determined to make a life just as good for himself here.

Maggie smiled and nodded at his words as Colton spoke. Her previous worries seemed to float away and she silently scoffed at herself for being so silly and jumping rapidly to conclusions. The girl clasped her hands together and laid them on her lap before she replied, "Yeah, that seems like a really big change. I've actually lived here my whole life, like born here and everything," she said and she shook her heading slightly, as if in disbelief. She couldn't even imagine ever moving away. Not just about all of her friends, whom she'd known for her whole life, but also losing the town. Losing the memories made here, not being able to walk her same route to school, not being able to go to her favourite diner or sit on her favourite park bench to read. She suppressed a shiver at the thought. Change was usually good, but that wasn't to say it was easy or not absolutely terrifying.

Maggie looked up, as her gaze had subconsciously drifted down while she thought. She pushed away those thoughts and focused on the task at hand, "There isn't much to expect," she commented with an airy laugh, "It's just your usual town, usual highschool, usual people," she went on, "Nothing huge happens here, nothing bad," she assured, "Though, I think we all like that. It's a peaceful town and I, personally, wouldn't want it any other way," she finished off with a blissful smile. Then, she glanced at the clustered group of parents quickly before she looked back at Colton, "If you ever need a little help figuring things out or a tour, I'd be happy to help," she offered politely.
