jackie couldn't help but smile when her father didn't flip out, and rather shook jahseh's hand in a sign of mutual respect. they practically ran back to her room and she shut the door. she shook her head excitedly, smiling. "you did great, i think he's gonna warm up to you. i was expecting him to throw you out," she laughed. when he asked what she wanted to do for the say, she walked over to the bed and sat down next to him, snuggling against his side and resting her head on his shoulder. "we should finish that movie we barely got to watch before my dad rudely interuptted us a few days ago, and then go out and explore to city later tonight." she said, reluctantly unraveling her arms from around him to get up and grab the remote. she liked that she could be as comfortable as she wanted around him. he didn't seem to mind when she sat close, probably because they had both semi confessed they had feelings for eachother.

he felt relieved that he had made an ok impression. she would walk over and snuggle against his side while resting her head on his shoulder. he wasn't the least bit surprised or shocked, he was just enjoying it. "you mean the horror movie?" he chuckles nervously. and watches her get up and get the remote, switching on the tv and changing it to the movie they had put on previously. jahseh didn't mind horror movies, but this one seemed to scare the hell out of him. his eyes are fixed on the screen as a scene plays, leading up to a jumpscare. he jerks slightly and ends up burying his face into her neck. his soft and warm breath fanned her neck slightly as he hugged her closer out of momentary fear. after the scene was over he turns his head to look up and saw it was over. he breaths a sigh of relief as he continues to watch the movie, still on edge. he feels his phone buzz in his pocket and he takes it out, seeing its a text from an unknown number 'watch your back.' he almost laughs at the meaningless threat,or at least he thinks its meaningless. he rolls his eyes and puts it back in his pocket, turning his attention back to the screen while his arm is draped over her shoulders.

she grinned, nodding her head in agreement when he realized she was talking about the horror movie. a part of her felt bad for playing the horror movie when he had chronic nightmares, but he also didn't seem to mind the movie. they sat in suspensful silnce as the music built up, and she could tell a jumpscare was coming. she was right and they both jerked backwards in sync, and she suddenly felt his face against her neck, his breath tickling her. she giggled, his breath sending chills down her arms. "it's over," she laughed softly, finding it funny when he got so scared from the jumpscare. he looked back at the screen and she settled in his arms. she noticed him pull his phone out for a moment, reading a text. she didn't pry, so she didn't see what the text said, and focused back on the movie. the rest of the movie was kind of scary, and her hand squeezed his arms whenever she thought something scary was about to come up.
