[where] the resturant [mood] genuinely happy [tagged] x [doing] going into the resturant
her mouth fell open in surprise when he confessed that was the first time he had smiled in 6 years. she was flattered that she could have been there to see it and contribute to his happiness, but another side of her realized he really had been through some rough things. the next thing he had said really left her speechless. he had wished to be dead before 18 and he was a year overdue. did that mean it was going to happen soon? a sudden wave of uneasyness filled her. what if things don't work out between them and she sets him over the edge? what if she falls for him and he hurts himself? she couldn't judge him because she had her own battles with balancing her mental health but it scared her that a genuinely nice guy like him could go through something for years on end that would push him to wanting to be dead. she wanted to ask him if he planned on doing something to hurt himself but caught herself. she didn't want to push him on a sensitive topic. she took a deep breath. over thinking was a specialty of hers. she looked over at him, nodding her head in thanks when he said he felt the same way. she was glad this wasn't a one sided thing like a lot of her relationships. she puts her camera back in her bag as they pull up to the resturant. "i'll make sure to download them and send them to you," she said, watching him get out and walk over to her side of the car. he opened the door for her, and she smiled, stepping out. "what a gentleman," she said, walking along the ground, her heels faintly clicking behind her. she noticed their hands idly brushing against eachother and decided the hell to it if there was more paparazzi and linked her arm with his, her hand resting in the crook of his elbow. when he looked over, she raised her eyebrow in a teasing manner, silently saying "what are you going to do about it?"
