It has been several years, after the incident that took place in Jurassic park. Now a new park has taken its place upon the island. Built with strengthened walls, electrical fences, hidden trackers and a heavy amount of security at the ready. Reassuring tourists who come and visit, that there won't be a repeat of past events. However, some members of staff have secretly begun to try and sneak dinosaurs out of the park in order to study them. Unaware of the massive risk that they were taking, with bringing these dangerous creatures closer to civilisation. After all, they aren't your everyday zoo animal, and if something were to go wrong then it would go wrong on a disastrous level. Considering that these prehistoric beasts are not tameable, and will kill you if given the chance. A wall can't protect you forever, and only time will tell the difference on how affective such a barrier can be. Neither can an army, when faced with something nearly the size of a building. Besides, the dinosaurs getting out will be the least of their worries, considering on what else lies behind these walls. Will those working here, be able to contain the problem? Or will the world become a playground for its prehistoric creations once more?

Name: Wraith
Age: young adult
Gender: female
Species: Indominus rex

Personality: Her personality is a complex matter, especially when taking into consideration on what she went through. But what many will first notice about her, is that she has trust issues. Due to the fact that she will involuntarily snap at anyone who gets far too close for comfort. This also includes her own trainer at times, much to her displeasure. Besides this, she is also cautious of her surroundings. Always staying on high alert, as if she was going to be jumped on at any moment. Because of this, she will often have difficulty in adjusting to new things, especially if such things carry scents that she doesn't recognise. Thankfully, these cases are rare, and she will often adjust to the smaller things quite quickly. However, when she isn't being careful or nervous, then she is being intellectual and protective. Often having a thoughtful mind over the new things around her, and carefully calculating a situation before moving in for the kill. This is when her more loyal instincts kick in, especially if she doesn't like a certain staff member talking to her trainer. A growl is often the only warning she needs to get her point across. But if she needs to go further, then she will try to snap at whoever is posing a possible threat to her handler.

Her more protective manner will only come out, if she senses a possible danger. Only then will she take action and try to defend those who have looked after her. The only problem, is that her more natural instincts will often take affect if she is hungry or close to hunger. Which can often lead to her taking things far too far, if she tries to eat the possible threat. Besides this, she can be kind and friendly. Especially if you've gained her trust enough, and she allows you to become a part of her 'pack'. She will at times even let out a little chirp in greeting, due to her raptor genetics. But a long with this comes with a slightly softer side, considering she will listen to your problems if she senses that something is off. However, do not take this side of her for granted, considering that she will bite you in half if your back is turned. Due to her more animalistic instincts that tell her to hunt. Because of this, she can become aggressive and unpredictable, often leading others to fear her for her gigantic size. It will take a lot of talking to get her to calm down, if she is pushed past her tolerance level. However, normally it will only take someone to call out her name, in order for her to snap at out of her murderous trance.

History: When Wraith finally hatched, it was clear that she was a tiny bit shorter than her sister, due to the fact that her egg took longer to hatch. Making her appear to be the runt of the litter. Not only was her smaller size a problem, but she also seemed to lack the killer instincts that her sister had. Causing several to suggest on starting over, and to secretly get rid of her when no one was looking. Fortunately, this idea was scrapped when someone pointed out that they still had two scary dinosaurs. Therefore, Wraith was allowed to live, and was moved to a more secure room along with her sister. So that no prying eyes could see them. At first, several scientists were worried on placing the two siblings together, since they didn't know on how a hybrid would react to another. But overtime, these fears soon began to disappear the moment that there were no signs of hostility, and the staff soon began to grow excited on being able to announce their arrival to the park. However, as time went by, vets were beginning to find small cuts along Wraith's body. Many shrugged it off as her running into things. Oblivious to the fact that her sister was starting to bite too hard, or that her little claws would draw blood if dug too deep. Neither do they notice the first for blood in her eyes, as she tackles Wraith to the ground. Mistaking it as either them playing rough or an attempt at dominance.

The only alert they did have of something being wrong, was during that fateful night. Where the silence within the empty halls was shattered, by Wraiths pained screeches. Her cries instantly sending shivers down the spines of those who heard her, due to how similar they sounded to that of a banshee. Many rushed to the young hatchlings aid, believing that someone was either trying to steal her or was trying to kill her. Little did they know, of what horror awaited them when they entered that room. When the lights were switched on, no one could believe their eyes on what lay before them. The cage floor was covered in dark crimson blood, and poor little Wraith was in the centre of it. Being torn apart by the stronger of the two, as she continued to cry for help. Several members of staff took immediate action. Quickly restraining the older of the two, despite gaining a few injuries from the small struggle to contain her. While the others quickly took Wraith to the vets, in order to save the young hatchlings life. At first, there didn't seem to be a lot that they could do, with how much blood she had lost. But thankfully, she was able to pull through, despite the fact that she was only a breath away from death. After the operation, she was placed in a separate room away from her sister, in order to recover from her frightful injuries.

Crush: impress her
Mate: none
Hatchlings: none

Affiliation (humans or dinosaurs?): neutral
Other?: carries several scars along her body, from her encounter with her sister. Giving her a permanent reminder of her close encounter with death. Two of her larger scars can be found across the back of her neck, from where she had been grabbed. Another scar can be found across her back left leg, stretching down to her toes and leaving her with a slight limp if pushed too far. A fourth one can easily be seen along her tail, from where it had nearly been bitten off. There a several smaller claw marks stretching across her stomach, chest and back from where her sibling had tried to shred her to pieces. Luckily these scars are faint, and can't be easily seen from afar. Finally she has three claw marks stretching down the right side of her face, not deep enough to cause permanent blindness, but enough to mess up her vision on that side of her head.

Evangiline Crowley - Indomunus Handler // Terra - Pterodacty

Postby Spock and Kirk » Sat Dec 02, 2017 10:57 am

☽ 𝔚𝔥𝔢𝔫 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔣𝔢𝔢𝔩 𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔴𝔬𝔯𝔩𝔡 𝔦𝔰 𝔞𝔤𝔞𝔦𝔫𝔰𝔱 𝔶𝔬𝔲, ☀

• Evangeline Alice Crowley • Pale Completion • Green Eyes • Auburn hair • 6'1"•
Some might say that Flying is in her blood. Her entire family for
the most part is composed of aircraft mechanics, pilots and aviation engineers.
Some might say that they are all people with their head in the clouds.
Evangeline spent most of her life dreaming of following in her families footsteps
hearing of the tales of her families past wanting to learn more about what
it took to be in the cockpit of any ancient aircraft. However during her teen
hood her life took her in another direction, she spent most of her time
studying the hard sciences her heart set on becoming a bio-chemist.
This was before she found herself not doing well in mathematics. She
found that she was not well suited to the world in the air, so she followed
her passion for all living things as opposed to machines. She ended up applying
for a position at Jurassic World when they park opened working as a lab technician.
However they decided that her nature was better suited for working with the animals
directly. When the Sibling of the Indomonus rex had been attacked she was put in
charge of caring for the poor creature. Ever since she's felt like they have been
inseparable.

human • 25 • March 6• bisexual • Earth • I-Rex Handler • lanky •

On the surface Evangeline is extremely shy. She tends to keep away
from most social outings, and often locks herself away with a good novel. Either
that or she is caught up in some kind of a model star ship. However, to those
that know her well enough she is very loyal.Sticking by the side of those
she cares about most even if she tends to push people away. She's got
plenty of sides, so for anyone looking to make her acquaintance she is quite the
hand full. Most would define her as being much too high maintenance.
However, most of her behaviour revolves around her bipolar disorder. She
was diagnosed when she was fifteen and ever since she has found herself
in states of either hyperactivity or in a deep sorrow. Sometimes these
episodes last for weeks, or she feels both of these strong emotional pulls at
once. She is on medication to try to combat it, but there are still times
when she still succumbs to her crippling disorder. This is the major reason
for her isolation, to try to shield others from her strange mood swings.

terra /ˈterə/
(n) ;
The planet earth, land or territory.

Terra was aptly named, not because
of the way Pterodactyl seems to
have the word imbued into
it, but because of her attachment
to the ground. When she was
hatched, her wing was oddly shaped
preventing her from being able
to fly properly. So, she got
her name and tends to stay close
to the ground rather than in the air.
Despite previous thoughts she can
fly, for a short amount of time before
she comes crashing back to the
ground.

Ok)

For a regular human, the dense foliage of the enclosure would make it very hard for anyone to see any further than their own hand. Causing them to become easily lost amongst the thick trees and undergrowth. Not quite knowing on whether or not something was going to pounce on you from the shadows. However, for Wraith, it was as if she could see above the very tree tops. The branches above her casting dapple-like shadows across her back, the leaves gently swaying in the breeze, causing the shadows to dance against her near white scales. It wasn't a particularly cold day, but it wasn't very warm either. Such was the weather during summer. Her foot steps were well calculated, as if she was trying very hard on not to startle something. Hardly audible by those above, unless you could feel the gentle tremors shaking the ground below, that alerted you of her presence as she patrolled her territory. Something she did regularly on a daily basis in order to avoid boredom when her alpha wasn't here. However, today, she was just having a casual stroll around the enclosure. Since it was one way of stretching out her legs, while also trying to catch the scent of any new smells. After all, she knew that she wasn't the only one living on this island, and would sometimes hear her fellow dinosaurs from time to time calling out to one another. Upon reaching a small gap in the canopy above, she then lifted her head up towards the walkways above. Her pupils narrowing further, in order for her eyes to adjust to the change in lighting. Her pale gold eyes taking in the scenery of workers moving from one place to another, talking into radios or to one another. That was another thing that separated her from her sister. While her sister had been born with near blood red eyes, she had been born with pale golden ones. Along with light grey freckles running down from her snout, all the way to her tail tip.

Many have commented on her appearance. With several claiming that she looked adorable or even 'cute', because of the fact that she wasn't as menacing looking as her sister. Well, they wouldn't be saying that about her now, as she continued on her way towards the treeline. Adjusting to her injuries had been hard, considering that the bite in her tail made her slightly off balance. As if trying to walk with an injured leg and being half blind wasn't enough for her to cope with. But she made it, somehow, thanks to her funny looking alpha. She wasn't quite sure on what the little female was, but she was different, much like herself really. She fought back the urge to yawn, as she neared her destination. Watching as the trees began to thin out into an open area. One where she will lay down in one of her favourite spots, and soak up the sun while listening to the world around her. But also gave her a better view of her alpha, and the members of staff who worked alongside her. It was funny to her, on how these small creatures didn't seem to fear her as much as their newcomers did. Although, she could tell that they were wary of her. Considering that they kept their distance from her, whenever it was possible. In a way it hurt, since she had taken the time and energy in order to recognise each and every one of them by their scent and name. Haven come to see them as her 'pack'. On the other hand, she kind of enjoys scaring them. Just as long as they didn't fall off and get injured.

She then carefully stepped out of the foliage, taking in her surroundings and the different scents. Before stepping out fully, and instantly feeling the suns warmth dance across her side and back. However, as tempting as taking a short nap as it was, she didn't quite feel like falling asleep. Instead, she felt quite thirsty from her little stroll. Deciding to take a little drink from the small lake, currently being slightly hidden from view by the shadow of a wall. Sometimes, if the days were unforgiving or extremely unbearable, then she would go for a swim. Well, as far as the water level of the lake would allow her too. That, or she'd refuse to leave the place that she slept in, due to the cool surface of the metal floor. Currently, taking a drink would at least give her something to do, as she waited for the arrival of her alpha.

“And like the sea… I am constantly changing from calm to hell”
xxxxxxxxxxx | Female | I-Rex handler | mood: Calm

xxx They always seemed to do it on purpose. I walked the same route almost every day through the park. Mostly sticking to the roads less traveled however that one group seemed to catch onto the way that I would go and he made a habit of trying to bump into me. Not in the friendly way either, I swear that he was attempting to make me drop the book that I had been holding. Especially after there had been a small rainfall. My eyes narrowed as I watched him leave flicking my ponytail off of my shoulder. I clutched the book in my hand watching him leave with a sneer curling onto my lips. My resentment was growing more and more between me and this stranger who seemed bent on trying to make me drop one of the things that had been the most precious to me. Most asked me when I talked about this issue why I didn’t stick to the main path that went through the park. I was awkward enough around the lab technicians that I had known for as long as I have worked here. I did not want to be running into patrons of the park. They varied in different kinds of people. People who were here with their families and people who had been waiting for months to get in a reservation, it seems as though all of them have somewhere else to be. I hated being asked to give directions to the nearest washroom, it's not what I signed up for. There were plenty of other staff members in the park that were there for that purpose.

xxx I shook my head and tucked my book under my arm continuing down the pathway to the enclosure. The one that I seemed to find all my solace in, the one place that I seemed to feel at peace with the world. It also helped that the one that it was containing looked at me and seemed to understand what I had to live with. She was in a similar situation, her disfigurement had made her need to keep separate from the others for her own safety. I decided that mine was far to extraneous to keep on explaining to my colleagues. It crippled me in my own sort of way. I suppose it's part of the reason why I am so compassionate for the poor creature. I remember when they brought her in and I was the only technician who was available. There was a party going on in the banquet hall of the main resort to celebrate the success of the Indominus rex and none of them were interested in leaving such party for what they called “natural selection”. I had refused to join them in their fun for obvious reasons, that and my medication had been switched as well finally after three months of having to wait for the shipment to come through. I was cleaning up when they brought the screaming infant into the room, she was in a state that I have never really seen before. It shocked me and I was surprised that I kept myself together enough to save her life. Watching her stand and learn to live again was the most amazing feeling. Knowing that I had done some good even if Doctor Wu had advised against it.

xxx I remember the first time Wraith let me touch her. Which was a strange memory all the same, especially coming up at a time like this. I had been told that it was against my better interests because of the nature that her sister had shown us. She was smaller because of her injuries and maybe there were a few other factors that came into play with her smaller size. I had never really looked into it. I was growing tired of seeing her in her pen all the time and I wanted to see how she would react if I were to attempt to get her to interact with me. I had stuck my hand through the bars of her enclosure and waited for her approach. It was a good ending as she was growing to trust me at the time and I never forgot the way that her golden eyes looked me over as she approached me gently pushing her muzzle into my palm. It only lasted for a second before she walked away something else catching her attention and I withdrew my hand. The memory faded as I approached the enclosure. I climbed the small set of stairs and opened the main door with my nametag that was clipped onto the belt loop of my jeans. I stepped through and it shut behind me with a force that could have easily pushed me to the other side of the room.

xxx Fear was something that I used to describe many a things in my life. However being in the presence of the younger Indominus was not one of them. It was more a healthy respect, I knew that she was powerful and often unpredictable but it was just another thing that we both had in common. It was funny to see that I had more in common with a genetically modified Dinosaur then with my fellow man most of the time. They never took the time to understand me and yet every time that she looked me over with her golden eyes I could see that she was reading me. Making sure that she was able to figure out how I was feeling before she jumped to conclusions. That was the thing that I found about animals, they always just seemed to know. I took a few steps closer to the glass. I had made myself a little space in the enclosure that was very dreary that was a little patch of heaven. I was not quite alone which kept the others satisfied. I had set up a few pillows close to one of the glass lookouts along with a reading light. It was starting to get darker earlier and I often found myself reading here until the late hours of the night often hearing Wraith watching over me. I stepped closer to the glass putting my hand on it and attempting to clear the reflection of myself that I could see in it. I wonder where she happened to be?

Re: Run (Jurassic world 1x1 with Spock and Kirk)

Postby wolfpack12 » Sat Dec 02, 2017 9:44 pm

The sound of a faint metallic click, was the first thing that gained her attention. Causing Wraith to lift her head up and away from the water. Crystal clear droplets dripped down from her chin, as she looked in the direction the sound came from. The thing about being the only one living within the enclosure, was that it can be fairly quiet. Allowing sound to travel quite farther than it originally would have, if there had been more than one inhabitant within the enclosure. It was why she was so used to the different noises going on around her. Since she knew each and every one of them by heart. From the gentle metallic thud of shoes hitting the walkway above, to the roaring sound of vehicles coming in and out of her area. However, this one particular noise, was one she knew from the very day she had first been introduced to her new home. To others, it would sound like a door closing. But to her, it was one of the few things that alerted her to the presence of her alpha and trainer. Carefully lifting her head up to the sky, she then parted her jaws a tiny bit in order to get a better understanding of who it is. It didn't take long for her senses to pick up a familiar scent. The breeze currently being in her favour, as she lowered her head back down.

Before setting off in the direction of where both the sound and smell had come from. While she may be half blind, her other senses had heightened since her full recovery. Allowing her to see things through hearing, touch and smell. Once more disappearing into the trees, as she made her way to one of the few places her alpha would go. To her it was odd, considering that the other smaller creatures of her alpha's kind would mostly band together like a pack. Yet, when it came to Evangline, she would prefer solitude over mixing with others. It wasn't that Wraith was complaining, since it gave her more time to better understand her little alpha. But it did make her slightly concerned for her wellbeing. Mostly because her raptor dna told her that there was safety in numbers, compared to being on your own. However, she quickly shook these thoughts off as the scent became stronger. Causing her to move a tiny bit more slower, so her footsteps were barely audible as she approached the see-through wall. Another creation that she didn't understand the meaning behind. The walls she understood to some extent, since it gave the little creatures security. But one that was completely crystal clear, just made her confused. While she understood that it gave her alpha a chance to peek through and see her, she just found it to be a confusing and frustrating thing. Since she once ran into one by accident when she was still a hatchling, and recovering from her injuries.

Once her instincts told her that she was close enough without being seen. She then let out one of her little greeting barks. A sound that was similar to the ones used by the parks raptor pack, yet different at the same time. Since it sounded a little bit more sinister, due to her larger size. Before stepping into view, while making her little chittering noises as if she was either talking or laughing. Depending on whether or not she had startled her alpha. That was another thing that surprised scientists. It was the fact that she proved to be far more intelligent than they first expected her to be. Due to the fact that overtime, she began to actually understand the human language. Slowly learning what each word meant, and understanding the meaning behind them. As well as on what her alpha needed her to do. Her pale golden eyes watching the young female carefully, as she tilted her head slightly to the side. A motion that many recognized to be her 'thinking' look. Considering that while she wasn't a domesticated animal, or one living in a zoo. She could still sense when something was bothering the other, as well as being able to read the changes in attitude, body language and facial expression.
