"I said I couldn't." He stated once more. And remained looking at the drink moving around the cup. "So it wouldn't be of any use to dance with me..." He said his mind was still full of this news he'd just receive, so he was frustrated.

Axel was about to go protective and find out what was going on but Jessica gently squeezed his hand, as to stop him. He felt like asking what the hell was wrong with him, even if he couldn’t dance, Jessica wanted to. She had let go of his hand and stepped closer to cole, gently wrapping her arms around his necks. While hugging him, she smiled and said: “looks like you need a hug.”

Cole had felt something wrap around his neck, getting a hug from jessica. It was nice feeling the warmth when he needed it. Thinking for a moment, he didn't want Jessica to be bothered if he didn't dance with her he could always try. He hasnt danced since he was little so he knew little about it. He stood up looking at Axel then Jessica, and took Jessica's hand, while walking to the center, or whatever they call it where you'd dance. As he leaned in to Jessica. "I wont do well, but I can try.. Just show me the simplest way" he said to her ear, putting up a smile.

Jessica followed with a smile on her face. As they reached the dance floor, she looked up at him and nodded. “Are you that worried of dancing?” She knew axel could do something to help him but in the same breath, wouldn’t that just add to his cute factor? “Just mimick the opposite my feet. If I step back, you step forward with the opposite foot..” She did a few short steps, seeing as it might be a bit harder for him but she didn’t mind teaching him.

"I wouldn't want to particularly look stupid in front of this many people." He whispered. As he did what she told him to, slowly remembering the moves he learnt when he was younger. He took her hand, and spun Jessica around to then catch her in his arms. "Was that good?" He said, having his hand on her back, supporting her to stay up.

Jessica smiled as she stayed close to him. “We wouldn’t let you look stupid.” She assured him and giggled as she spun him. Her smile was wide as she laid in his arm. “Yes, it was. You aren that bad.” She teased. Axel was watching them from a short distance, making sure no harm would come to either and also keeping yousuke away. He enjoyed seeing the two together, even if Jessica wouldn’t admit it to herself. She seemed happier around him. Maybe he could speak to her father later about him, try and get him on the good graces since her mother already liked him.

"It'll work for now huh?" He said with a smile on his face, glad to be able to forget what happened with his father. Jessica made him happy whether he would be able to admit such a thing. He placed his arms behind Jessica, stepping slowly. Trying not to go ahead and step on her foot. Thats probably the last thing he would like.

“Don’t worry. Look at your feet.” Jessica spoke as she stayed close to him with her arms around his neck. He would be able to pick up on the light black mist that surrounded his calves. Axel was controlling this shadow, making sure he would step on her feet or stray from the line. “But I must admit that you have done very well. I just want you to feel comfortable and relaxed. I like when you smile.” She complimented.

Cole looked down at his feet noticing the black mist around his legs. Following it til he got used to it comfortably. "Was that a compliment, or you just teasing?" He said ending that sentence with a smile. "I like it when you smile too" he complimented. Looking at her eyes.

Jessica shook her head slightly. “I’m being sincere.” At his compliment and staring at her eyes, she felt the heat creep up her cheeks. “Please I have to have a nice smile as everyone sees it but you don’t smile often and when you do, you look a lot more handsome.” She said, trying to focus the attention back on him.
