Spiderstar was curled up in his nest, his head rested on his paws. He had only recently woken up, which would explain why he had not yet left his den."Might as well get up."he muttered to himself before getting to his paws and leaving the den. He then sat down, watching as cats emerged from the dens, ready for the day.
Pigeonpaw was near the herb storage, gathering some marigold to treat Honeycloud's wounds. The young warrior had encountered a dog only yesterday and he knew it was best to keep her wounds dressed to avoid infection."We'll need to gather some more marigold soon."the tom spoke up, looking over at his mentor Acornfeather."We seem to be running low, luckily it's a common herb."
Leafstep was in the clearing, his gaze not focused on anything in particular. Instead he was waiting patiently for the rest of the clan to wake up, so that patrols could be sent out. It was early, so there was still plenty of time, but he was longing to be out in the forest.
Aspenfur was curled up in his nest, his tail covering his nose. Suddenly the tom woke up, giving a small sneeze before glancing around the den."Morning already?"he asked himself, but it was obvious that the tom was already wide awake. Within moments he was out of his nest and in the clearing, soon taking a place near the warriors den.
Honeycloud was curled up in her nest, her eyes closed although she made no move to get up. Her wounds were bothering her, especially the deep bite on her shoulder, which had been the result of her fight with the dog. It hadn't been a huge brute and she had thought she could handle the annoying creature, but it had been tougher then she had expected. True, she had chased it off, but now she felt miserable and warrior duties were out of the question for her if she wanted her wounds to heal properly.
Twistedface was in the clearing, grooming her black and orange pelt. Already she was wanting to head out, but a patrol didn't seem as much fun as a walk did. Honestly she preferred to stray out of clan borders, but she knew that there was work to be done. Pushing the thought aside she focused on the clan, taking note of who had woken up already.
Hickorypaw was in his nest, not wanting to yet leave the comfort of the apprentice den or socialize with others. He knew there was much to be done, but still he was reluctant to do anything but lay here, so he soon decided he would remain in place for a little while longer.
Rainsong was in her nest, trying to get comfortable, but somehow she didn't think that was possible. There was plenty of space and the silence among the den was peaceful, but she wanted to be out in the forest. However, she knew that wasn't possible as her belly was already swollen with unborn kits, meaning she a long time to wait before she was a warrior again.
