"They want to use them for tests..." said Maria, shaking her head, "They're keeping us around because of the newborns."

"I doubt that's true. They seem like nice people. Nicer then the ones Mark and I have been around." Tucker said.

[Boomer]

"I don't know..." she muttered, "I'm not totally trusting them." Maria curled around her puppies.

Tucker sighed softly,"I won't judge you." He said softly.

[Boomer]

Maria shook her head again, then huffed quietly. "I don't want them messing around with the pups." she stated.

"We'll just have to keep on eye on them for now." Tucker said softly.

[Boomer]

Maria nodded as she looked to her little pups. Her oldest, Eileen, was pawing at her right eye.

Tucker looked at Eileen before frowning a bit, knowing the pup already had surgery to remove her bad eye,"No, no, little one." He told her softly as he gently nosed her.

[Boomer]

Maria looked to Eileen's eye patch, then sniffed it. "It doesn't smell bad..." she murmured.

Tucker glanced at Maria before gently licking the pups.
