“Looking our for our littermates is what we do,” she meowed.

"Not like you can talk much about being nosy, Blackfeather. Didn't you used to try and listen in on the medicine den all the time?" Runningbreeze meowed. The black she-cat fluffed up in embarrassment.

[Mist]

“Why would you do that?” Brightwing asked.

[WinterWanderer]

"I was curious about the things that would go on in there," She meowed.

[Mist]

“Like what?” she asked.

[WinterWanderer]

"Mother used to tell us all about the caring of cats, so I guess I wanted to find out for myself what it was like," She meowed. "Dayshimmer was really nice to the warriors who would get hurt."

[Mist]

"Did you want to be her apprentice then?" she asked.

[WinterWanderer]

"Maybe a little bit, but being a warrior was a far bigger dream," She meowed.

[Mist]

"Blackfeather and I would always push ourselves pretty hard because we wanted to live up to Darkstar's legacy," Littleflower meowed.

[WinterWanderer]

"We grew up hearing so many stories about Darkstar, but as we got older, we kind of realized he just wanted us to be our own cats. Make our own legacies," Blackfeather shrugged.
