He grunts softly in surprise, then he huffs and runs after him. He keeps an eye on Salia in case he slips or something and goes plummeting into the river. He occasionally glances down at the pawprints.

[miss kobayashi]

" sauerkraut! here girl! " he starts into a sprint when he hears a bark. he nearly slides, getting his legs muddy, but pushing himself up without stopping. in the distance, the tan pup, now dark brown from the mud, began to run towards him. he stops, grabbing the puppy and lifting it into his arms, laughing as the dog licks his face.

He slows down to a stop beside of him, panting lightly. He smiles and watches Silia curiously. "Aww.. I'm glad that we found her. She is really cute." He grins, but keeps his distance. He holds the torch away from them so they won't get choked by the smoke.

[miss kobayashi]

silia chuckled, clicking the leash onto her collar. feeling the stress leave him, he turns to look at raven.
" should we go now? " he asks, wiping the mud off his shirt, a wide grin still stretched across his face.

[Inudragon]

He nods. "Yeah, we should. You look tired... I don't think we're too far from the border, so just follow me." He turns and walks in one direction. He was rather confused. He felt... disappointed that he was taking Silia back to the city. He still wasn't quite sure why.

[miss kobayashi]

silia followed behind him, every now and then looking down at his dog to see how she was doing. he couldn't help but beam every time he looked at her. " thank you, for your help and all... and not, uhm, eating me... " he lets out a shy laugh, rubbing his arm.

[Inudragon]

He chuckles at his behavior. "No problem. Glad to be of service." He watches Sauerkraut almost suspiciously, but he quickly gets over it. "If I may, could I ask why you're so attached to her her?"

[miss kobayashi]

he looks down at the dog, who was running back and forth as far as her rope could go. " she was my brothers puppy, actually. he got her right before he was admitted into the hospital. he's sick, you see, so he couldn't take care of her. he wanted me to take care of her. that's why she's got such a silly name. he had a good sense of humor. " silia chuckles.

[Inudragon]

"Oh... that's nice of you, then." He watches the happy puppy, scratching idly at his arm. "I can see why you were so worried about her then. I'm glad she's okay." He smiles at him slightly, holding his hands together.

[miss kobayashi]

silia smiles back, and bends over to pick up the dog, who was slowing down due to how tired she was.
" how much longer, do you think? " he asks, rubbing his cheek against sauerkrauts head.
