Alessa tried to use her telekinesis to escape, but was unable to when she felt the pain of the first shot. She yelped in pain as she continued to fight. Mary stayed by her side the entire time; it was painful for her to not be able to stop Alessa's fear.

"I-I know." Keona whimpered quietly.
Mark looked at her,"Come here, sweetie." He said softly as he gently pulled her into a hug,"It'll be fine." He told her.
Keona whimpered before burying her head in his shoulder.

[Boomer]

Alessa growled some as she was stuck two more times. She panted some as she submitted to the doctors. One of them swabbed her arm and another prepped the syringe to draw her blood.

Mark quietly held Keona before pulling back to look at her,"Everything will be, alright?" He asked.
Keona looked back at him before nodding her head a little.
Mark smiled at her,"Good. Now, go on and play and I'll let you know when it's dinner." He said, watching as Keona sinply nodded her head again.

Alessa stared at the ceiling as the needle went into her vein. She quietly whimpered as they took the blood they needed. She was unstrapped from the restraints, then she clung onto Mary. Mary held the pup as the doctors and nurses left.

Mark smiled before he stood back up again and walked over to the kitchen.
Keona looked around before she headed back upstairs to her room. Not feeling like coloring anymore, she put it out before she pulled out a simple and easy children's book from her cupboard. She looked at the title for a few minutes as she sat down on the floor before she flipped to the first page. She stared at the words, trying to figure out what they said like she was taught for many years, but quickly gave up and just looked at the pictures, not realizing the small tear that went down her cheek.

Mary looked out the window as Alessa shivered. "It's okay..." she said quietly, "Don't fret." She held the thin, shaking pup, knowing that the girl needed help with her fears.

Keona looked at the pictures on each page quietly, not even bothering to look at the words. Somewhere near the middle of the book, she lost her focus on looking at the pictures and began to think of other things. Keona put the book down on the ground and hugged her knees to her chest,"I want them back......" She whispered, not yet realizing the sudden chill in the room.

After Alessa calmed down, Mary brought her back to the playroom. The little pups joined them and they left the hospital. The pups were quiet and tired on the walk back. When they got home, the little pups went upstairs to take a nap.

Alexis went upstairs to check on her youngest, smiling softly to see that Musa was still asleep. Tip toeing out of the room, she was about to head back downstairs when she felt a chill coming from the room beside. Keona's room,"Oh no, not now......" She whispered before walking in with a light knock, frowning when she saw the girl in tears,"Keona......" Alexis frowned slightly, but was quick to sit down next to the girl and embrace her,"It's okay..... it's okay......" She said softly.
