"I-I don't want to go back to sleep......" Musa whispered before coughing again. Alexis looked at her with a little frown,"I know you don't, Musa, but you have to rest. This cold isn't going to go away if you don't." She said softly as she walked into the bedroom before gently putting her down on the bed.
After they finished stitching up Alessa, the doctors talked to Mary before discharging the girl. Mary carried her back home to monitor her. Alessa was still out of it.
Musa frowned a little before coughing again before laying back down. Alexis gently pulled the sheets on top of her,"Get some rest." She whispered softly with a little smile before walking back out of the bedroom..
Mary set Alessa on the couch, then looked over as Henry came with the cookie sheet. "Is she okay?" he asked. "She slipped and cut her head open in the bathroom." murmured Mary quietly. Henry frowned as he put the sheet down.
Alexis walked back downstairs before finding Mark in the kitchen, working on cutting up the potatoes and carrots,"Hey, everything okay?" Mark asked when he saw the frown on her face. Alexis looked at him before shaking her head a bit.
Henry sat with them as he looked to Mary. "She had to be sedated?" he asked. Mary gave a nod and sighed. "I hope she'll adjust to school." she murmured, "It's only two days away. Maybe she shouldn't go yet..."
Mark slightly frowned before he walked over to his wife, gently pulling her into a hug,"Is it Musa?" He asked quietly. Alexis nodded her head ever so slightly,"She's worse then earlier....." She whispered.
"Mare, she has to." said Henry quietly, "You'll never want to send her if we wait. Besides, she'll get all the help she needs." Mary sighed quietly and shook her head. "I know..." she murmured, "I'm worried. What if someone bullies her?" "Mare, is something else bothering you?" asked Henry, "You've never this high strung." "No, I'm fine..." she insisted.
Mark gently rubbed his wife's back,"Try to relax. You know when we found out that she has a very weak immune system that it was going to take a bit longer and maybe even a bit harder for her to get better then other children." He said softly. Alexis ever so slightly nodded her head,"I know......"
