Merrill just cried against Nero, they had tried so hard already, and she just felt defeated. She knew it was because she was a hybrid, but it hurt, she was glad they at least had Fen.

Taiven smiled at him, "Hopefully you enjoy your life of leisure again." he said.

Nero held her. "We will keep trying until it happens." He murmured.

"The wife will be happy." Omar laughed.

"What if it never does?" she asked with a soft sniffle as she looked at him, scared as she hugged him.

"I bet she will be." Taiven chuckled, "And that's what matters." he smiled at his own.

"It will. Do not worry." Nero spoke as he hugged her. "And if it doesn't. We have Fen and we can adopt 300 more." Nero smiled.

"Happy wife is a happy life." Omar laughed.

Merrill knew he was trying to cheer her up,, but she wasn't in the mood for jokes, "I am sorry love." she said softly.

"That is so true." Taiven grinned with a laugh, he smiled at Omar, "And less work for us old men."

Omar laughed. "So true. Just tell me when our new king and queen are ready and I will sign everything over..." He murmured.

"Good, I will let you know, they probably need a couple days to settle in." he said as he smiled at Omar, "I am glad they are back home."
