Alice listened to Geoffrey and her eye glowed hearing the cat, 'Why... he never told me, just not to... why should I never heal a god?' She asked turning away from Geoffrey as she talked to the cat. She wanted to know why before she did anything. Demeter got up lightly, "Perhaps the best course of action would be to talk to the cat... or get Alice to convince the cat to lift the curse." She said.

Raven nodded and followed after him swiftly, "I will go with you." She said. Mari, Harvard and Faline were on their way to the Church already. Ily looked at Dasha, "I think we are with J-Jasper's group..." She said softly.

Stalia smiled and hooted gently, she gave him a soft nuzzle, "Thank you Norman..." She said softly. She was so glad he would, she really liked him.

If they have your light in any way whether they take it or you give it to them, you give them immortality!’ The cat hissed. ’Mortals are so simple-minded.’ The cat’s voice faded and Verus eyes closed as he let out a tired gasped. It seems that even sleeping was a tiring task for him.

Dasha blinked at Ily and smiled. “Okay then!” She said before she trotted happily after Raven and Jasper. Jasper blinked at the sight of the church. It looked more like a ruin than a church. He approached everyone lightly. “Did you happen to find your friend?” He asked.

Norman smiled and waved. “See you tomorrow Stalia.” He said before he looked at the tension in the room and quickly left.

Alice blinked and her eyes widened so that was how... and why Boss did not want her to heal him... she looked at Geoffrey and smiled sparsely, "It seems I am forbidden from healing you..." She said softly. Demeter got up and walked over, "When Verus wakes up we will talk to the cat about undoing the curse." She said, "For now you'll just have to wait." She said.

Ily walked after them meekly looking around, Mari looked over curiously in surprise seeing them, she nodded her head. Lily looked up, she was hugging Faline, "Hello again Sir..." She said softly, "I am so glad Faline is safe... the father was not so lucky..." Lily sighed looking down, their home was in shambles now.

Stalia waved softly and stood there confused on where to go... Alice looked at Stalia and walked over to her she took her hands, "Hello Stalia. I will help you out okay?" She asked softly. Stalia nodded softly, "T-Thank you!" She said.

Geoffrey frowned angrily and his feathers ruffled slowly. He glared darkly at Demeter. ”I’m not talking to that d@mn cat!” he snapped angrily before he staggered back slightly as the cold sweat hit him harder than usual. He glared lightly at Demeter. ”Isn’t it funny? Gods can heal each other and even to extreme extents share their powers between each other but the giver of life can’t touch another god. The rules are pathetic!” he snapped angrily.

Jasper blinked then he pinned his ears back in understanding. “We will do our best to rebuild your home so that it can become a place of worship and safe haven once more.” He said.

Demeter looked at him, "I can numb your pain but I cannot lift your curse unless I take it for my own and even then I don't think it would work." She said, "Consider it the sins of the past coming back." She reminded him, "We made mistakes... we are not deserving of her life... we must seek redemption before we are worthy of anything..." She said to him.

Lily blinked in surprise, "Thank you... I cannot thank you enough... anyone is welcome to stay in the church once it is built up..." She said softly.

Sienna lifted her head, she growled softly, "Are we there yet?" She asked. Eliza said looking up, "I don't think so dear." She said.

Geoffrey frowned angrily at Demeter before he looked away from her. ”Can you say those exact same words when your urge for her light becomes too much to resist?” He asked, a bit bitterly.

Jasper nod his head, lightly. “For now, I ask that you and yours remain patience as my pack repairs the inn. It will be there that you can lay your heads until the church has been built.” He said.

Boss frowned lightly, they had been traveling all day and night. ”You do know that we have an ocean to cross before we arrive, right?” He asked before he pulled the vehicle into a town and turned it off. ”I need to sleep.” he mumbled as he closed his eyes.

Demeter frowned, "The urge grows stronger every day... but I will leave before it takes me to far." She said to him, "I refuse to harm the tree... and if I do. I already gave the cat permission to kill me." She said to him. Ebony blinked, "... so... ah... it's okay to heal... gods that haven't fully awakened right?" She asked curiously as Alice and Demeter looked over at Ebony.

Lily nodded her head, "Of course... I will wait as long as it takes." She said and looked at Faline, she looked at Mari and took her hands, "I don't suppose Faline could stay with you until the church is built back up?" She asked softly. Mari blinked surprised that Lily would ask her such a thing. "I will be busy helping everyone else and I need to make sure Faline will be safe. You were willing to give your life to help us free... I trust you with her." Lily smiled. Mari smiled and nodded her head softly, Faline gave Lily a hug, "I-I'll miss you." She said, "Don't worry Faline, it will be like a sleepover okay?" Lily smiled softly, Faline nodded happily, "O-Okay!" She said. Mari picked her up gently and hugged onto Faline, she would keep the little fawn safe. Lily looked at Jasper softly, "I can't thank you enough Sir... is there any way I can help?" She asked.

Sienna hissed and frowned, she leaned back and sighed, "Fine... very well..." She mumbled but disliked just staying parked it didn't seem safe. Eliza dozed off softly too. Sienna hissed to herself and decided to stay awake incase the rat was stupid.

Geoffrey frowned at Demeter before he slowly sat down on the couch. Abi took out her handcheif and started patting Geoffrey dry of his sweat while Bella offered him her tea. Geoffrey glared lightly at Ebony. ”Depends one of the tree wants to risk it.. I doubt that she does..” he said with a scowl.

Jasper watched the exchange quietly then he looked at Lily. “Um... I don’t really know.” He mumbled before he looked at Raven.

Boss’s eyes were closed but he remained awake. It wasn’t until he was sure that Eliza was asleep that he spoke. ”Sleeping in here is safer than anywhere else right now. Once we cross the ocean, hopefully we will have a break from the rat.”

Ebony looked off, "She already did..." She said she pondered if perhaps it helped her not wake up? The temptation of waking up was not there though she had a small desire for Alice it wasn't anything like the others it seemed like.

Raven looked at him and looked at Lily. "There are hungry and hurt people... you can help by going to take care of them as we take care of the building." She said. Lily blinked and nodded her head. "Of course." She smiled and went off swiftly. Mari and Faline waved and looked at Jasper. Mari waved and started heading back. Harvsrd watched quietly before he smiled at Raven and Jasper. "Goodbye." he waves and followed Mari and Faline.

Sienna looked at him, "Fair enough..." she mumbled. "I have not slept in a long time." she mumbled thoughtfully mostly meditate or just waited for morning she wasn't aware of any dreams as it was usually just darkness.

Geoffrey frowned lightly before he stood up and walked out of the house then out of the town.

Jasper nod his head lightly then he looked at his group. “Well, let’s get started.” He said, making his way to help with building the inn.

Boss let out a soft huff. ”Give it a try. It doesn’t hurt to feel like a mortal sometimes.” he said.
