Ora flinched at the captain and nodded her head. Mel yowled in pain when he did and hissed when he slammed her to the floor she got up slowly and smirked happily, "Sweet." She said and punched a few pirates away. "Get him kitty!" Mel beamed and attacked the pirates trying to get to Verus.

Ora snarled and blinked looking at Jasper she ran over to him and went to attack but Winry and Lana blocked her way. Ora snarled fighting the two of them as Crimson joined the frey beating on some pirates with Mel. "Hey hot stuff." Mel smirked, Crimson shivered at her tone and shook his head.

Alice nodded her head and checked over the other girls, "Everyone is okay..." She said. "S-Some didn't make it..." Lily said, "They... didn't survive though." She said looking down, "may their souls make it to heaven." She said bowing her head. Stalia smiled, "T-Thank you Norman..." She said hooting softly.

Verus flattened his ears and he hissed darkly as his body started to light up with markings. “Destruction..” He hissed before he took a single step forward. When he did, the ship and the captain received several deep cuts. The ship’s boards had large clean cuts and the captain roared in pain. “Chaos..” Verus said before he took another step and more cuts appeared on the captain and ship.

Jasper nod at Winry and Lana before he stumbled. He frowned lightly. If Verus kept this up then by the time he gets the boat to the surface, the boat would start sinking. He pulled back on the stern and the ship turned up, heading towards the surface.

Norman smiled happily and he hugged her back. “Of course, Stalia. I like you. A-And when you was fighting the crow back at town, t-that was incredible!” He said.

Ora's eyes widened, "Are you crazy!! You'll sink the ship!" She hissed at Verus, gods what happened? He wasn't this strong before! She looked at Jasper and frowned, she hated to admit it but he had the right idea, she jumped to the side of the side and kicked open a hatch she pulled out a cord inflating balloons on the side of the ship making it raise faster with Jasper pulling up, they would get there much faster. Winry and Lana blinked in surprise, the cat cared more about the ship then fighting them.

Stalia blinked and blushed deeply, "R-Really? I-I ah... I don't fight much..." She said blushing happily as she hooted gently, she hugged him back settling in his arms, he was nice and warm. Her clothes were still damp.

The captain snarled angrily. How was it that Verus was only taking a step towards him and he was getting cut open several times?! Was this cat too fast for the eyes?! He snarled and he reached out to grab Verus. "Order..." Verus said and the captain shrieked in pain as several fingers were cut off and some hanging from its phalanges by the skin. Verus tensed his body and he spoke darkly.
"Balance.." He reappeared on the other side of the captain and the captain's eyes widen as blood gushed from his mouth as he breathed struggling breaths. His throat had a deep, clean cut and blood flowed freely down his body and created a dark crimson puddle below him. His eyes returned to normal and his body returned to normal. He turned his head to look back at Verus, his eyes wide with fear when he did before he fell to the floor as he let out his final rasped breath.

Jasper blinked when the serval helped out and soon the ship lunged to the surface before it rested on the water. Jasper growled at being wet before he looked around, searching for the military ship.

Norman smiled and he wrapped an arm around Stalia while keeping the other on the stern. He blinked at the sonar. "It looks like they are coming up to the surface and fast." he reported. His eyes widen when he saw the ship break the surface. "There they are!" he yelled out.

Mel started in shock holding a seagull pirate in her hand, she punched the seagull one more time before she walked over to check out the muskrat, "That was [removed] awesome!" She said to Verus, "Damn your even cooler then before! You got to fight me again!" She said, "Not now Mel!" Lana hissed at her. "We have a mission remember?" She asked, Mel crackled her knuckles, "Right." She said and grabbed the serval, Ora yelped, "C-Capt'n!" She said and glared at Mel, "A lion paid you guys to come after Geoffrey right?" She asked, Ora blinked, "Yea... what of it?" She asked, "Your going to take us there and we are going to kill him got it?" she asked, Ora pinned her ears back glaring at Mel.

Crimson growled, he hated getting wet, he looked up, "Alpha! The ship is behind us!" He called. Winry nodded, and noticed the anchor, she grabbed Crimson and the two of them dropped the anchor so the other ship could catch up.

Stalia hooted softly staying close to Norman. Alice looked up, she moved over, the front of the boat with Raven, "Is everyone okay??" She called out.

Verus ignored Mel and everyone. He was in a world of his own but his body didn't move. It only stared into space and stood rigid.

Jasper looked at the ship and waved to it. Norman pulled the ship next to the pirate ship and he lowered the anchor. Jasper looked at Raven and Alice. "Everyone has a few cuts and bruises but fore the most part we are alright. Griz is badly injured and Verus.." He looked over at Verus. "I don't know. I think he is fine. He is standing." he said.

Alice frowned worriedly, she jumped onto the ship worriedly, she ran over, "Verus!" She called and looked at Griz she frowned and kneeled beside him healing him. "Oh Griz…" She said. Mari got up slowly and made her way onto the ship. Raven went to Jasper, "You guys okay?" She asked.

Verus's ears flicked at Alice's voice. He turned his head and as soon as his eyes landed on Alice, the markings on his body faded and soon his eyes stopped glowing. He staggered a bit before he fell to his knees, exhausted. His body felt like it did this morning. In pained and pushed way beyond its limits. He looked at Griz then at Alice. "W-Will he be alright?" he asked, through pants.

Jasper looked at Raven and he nod his head. "Yeah. We're fine. Are you alright? You didn't use too much magic, did you?" he asked.

Alice relaxed when he came to his senses, she smiled and frowned and looked at Griz, "I don't know yet..." She said sadly and looked at Griz, "Let me check him over." She said and tried to heal him she sensed him, he was badly wounded. "I think... maybe..." She said pinning her ears back. "We should get him to Demeter." She said.

Raven looked at him, "I'm okay... I used a lot but not as much as Rin and the others." She said. "I'm fine." She said waving her hand, "The girls are safe and the pirates defeated." she said.

Verus looked at Alice. "W-What do you... mean by.. maybe? You have to.. heal him!" he hissed before he collapsed in exhaustion.

Jasper nod his head. "That's good. You missed watching a good fight." he said before he saw Alice, Verus and Griz. He barked for Crimson and Winry. "Crimson, help me carry the bear. Winry, think you can help with the panther?" he asked.
