A small look of annoyance came over his face when his new girlfriend began to tell him about this 'Zach Fox' guy and from what she said, he didn't like him already "I hope I don't have a run in with this guy because I might just need to give him a piece of my mind." he warned, knowing that they were getting off topic but it didn't matter "Did you say he likes you?"

"He asked me out more then once and I simply said no and might have threw some things at him to get him to leave. But he's always at nationals"she said

Brett shook his head slowly then gave a small laugh "You threw things at him?" he laughed, finding it hard to believe that she would do something like that but in some ways it didn't surprise him "I might need to be your own personal bodyguard this year then." he suggested

"Yeah you might have to. But he might not bother me this year after what happened last year. "She said and started laughing thinking back to what happened

Watching the change in her expression at the mention of the previous year, Brett couldn't help but feel curious about the events that must have happened "You have to tell me what happened."

"So he asked me again for the third time that day so I threw a brush at him and went to dodge it but tripped and fell into a pile of horse manure "she said laughing harder

Brett joined in with laughter, letting himself go for a couple of minutes until he felt he had done enough and began to wind himself down again "That would have been amazing to see." he replied with a new found sense of enthusiasm.

(what if, this Zach guy decides to let one of his horses be used for the mock event and that is the horse that Brett gets?)

"Yeah it I wished I could have record it"she said and soon calmed down from laughing. "I swear if you get his horse in the mock event then you need help"she said.

(Yes and then Zack doesn't like it so he gets in a fight)

"That would have been gold if you did." he joked but shook his head when she mentioned the chance of him riding his horse in the mock event "Are his horses any good?" he asked curiously.

"There good but when's he's on his horses they are bad"she said "it got bad when the horses mouth started to bleed"she said. "They disqualified him so now he uses rubber bits "she said
