"ok. If you want I could ask my father to get you a small steer."she said and sat down on a pile of hay bales. Waiting for him to reply she noticed Kjell trying to unlock his stall door. She growled at him and went over to him and got him to stop.

[buckskin.]

"That'd be awesome if you could do that." he replied enthusiastically as he leaned against the stall gate "So...do you know if there are any open positions on any nearby farms or cattle stations?" he asked, the only reason he was here was because his father wouldn't let him stay home alone at their old place, which luckily they had rented out meaning the Brett would inherit the property later in life. Honestly, he could have stayed home and kept their cattle farm up and running instead of passing it off to complete strangers who just put horses on the thousands of acres of decent grazing land.

[Aloy]

"not that I know of. Oh wait there is one. Down at the East side of the mare pasture there a cattle farm there. But I'm not sure how to get there"she said and patted Kjell's neck to calm him down as he started to get snotty

Brett listened with interest as she spoke of a nearby farm "Would you have a phone number or name that I could contact?" he asked, curiously approaching her and the Fjord horse that occupied the stall that Ally stood infront of. "Who's this?" he asked, gesturing towards the small yet stocky animal.

[Aloy]

"yes I have there phone number"she said and sighed as Kjell started using her as a scratching post "this is Kjell and right he is being snotty which is bad manners for a working pony"she said and gently pushed him away

"Would you mind giving it to me?" he asked softly and glanced back over to the horse, he gave a small life at her description of the equine "Kjell." he said, repeating the name to himself. It was truly a name he had never heard of before, it sounded weird as it rolled off his tongue "Never heard that name before." he joked gently as he gave a half amused smile.

"because it's Norwegian name"she as she wrote down the phone number and handed it to him. "Then we have Midnight and Sam on both sides of him. Sam's the Australian warmblood and Midnight is the friesian"she said happily

Taking the number from the girl, Brett pulled out his phone and began to put the number in "That makes sense." he laughed softly, glancing up from his phone and finally put the small silvery mobile back into his pocket. "You're boys are very fancy compared to mine, the breeds themselves make mine seem like nothing." he replied half jokingly although it was the truth, quarter and stock horses were extremely common.

"I know but it's the heart they have for a rider what counts. For Kjell and Midnight they used to be used for pulling carts"she said and looked at Brett's horses "but your horses are very handsome"she said

A small smile crossed over his face "You have a good point there, if a horse doesn't want to perform then their breeding really doesn't come into consideration." he replied agreeing with her previous comment. "Thanks, they are good looking horses." he paused for a moment as he glanced from Cricket to Pharaoh "Cricket is the chestnut Quarter horse, ever since I was him as an unbroken three year old I knew he was going to be my champion. I'm just hoping the Pharaoh follows in his buddies hoofprints, he's showing promise but he's a bit unsure when I ask his to push up against a steer."
