GONE 1x1 with Light Bringer

[Piera]

"Don't worry about me Howard, I'm practically indestructible. You need to worry about yourself more."

[Light Bringer]

"I can't help but worry about you." Howard said quietly.

[Piera]

"Why? You don't need to worry so much, you're not my handler. I cant understand why you would after what I did back there."

[Light Bringer]

"Because I care about you Orc. Even though sometimes you scare me when you get like that, but I still care."

[Piera]

"Well you shouldn't. I don't deserve it." Orc replied, a slight waver in his voice. "We're close to Drakes room."

[Light Bringer]

"Orc...Charles...you do deserve it." Howard said before the feeling of dread intensified. They were near Drake's room. He didn't want to be near Drake's room. He didn't want to be near Drake.

[Piera]

Orc stopped in his tracks. It had been ages since someone had called him that. He turned to Howard with sad eyes. "You..you really think so?" Orc asked quietly, barely a whsiper.

[Light Bringer]

Howard nodded his head. "I know so." He said, softly, offering Orc a reassuring smile.

[Piera]

"You're not just..saying that to get out of being near Drake, right?"

[Light Bringer]

Howard shook his head. "No." That would just be a bonus. "I'm just trying to get you to stop beating yourself up like you do."
