appearance ; carson is six foot one, with a pretty average build. he's slim, but has some muscle tone.
his skin is pretty pale, he doesn't tan well but it seems to fit his style anyway. he has medium length black hair, that is always in a messy "bed head" sort of style and deep green eyes. he has a variety of body mods, ranging from 1" sized stretched lobes, an eyebrow piercing, he has an owl tattooed across his chest, the sigil of lucifer on the back of his neck and the alchemic sulfur symbol on the inside of his wrist. he has various scars on his torso and back. carson's style is generally shirts with the sleeves cut off, studded or these belts, and skinny fit ripped pants. he wears a few button up shirts, or his battle vest.
personality ; carson seems like a generally unapproachable guy. he doesn't seem to care about much, and was the type of kid who would always cause trouble in school, cause fights, vandalize things, and get into trouble with the law. even though he seems like a jerk from the outside, those that know him know that's not completely how he is. he's protective of his friends, and trusts too easily. once you lose that trust, it will be hard to earn it back though. he is very quick to get angry and shut down. carson also suffers from a variety of issues, the main ones being post traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, and attention deficit disorder. these cause issues in his life, causing him to drop out of school and finding work hard. they present themselves in being hyperalert all the time, often times panicking over what seems like nothing to others, very fast instense mood swings and "stealing" traits from others, getting very attached to one person, and switching topics or inability to focus. he's been very closed off about these.
history ; carson has no idea who his father is, nor does he want to know. he grew up with his mother working as a waitress during the day and a bartender at night to support them. throughout his childhood he had to deal with her boyfriends coming and going from the place they called home, which was a small trailer. as he grew, things got harder and his mother turned to other things to make her happy. they had an effect on her health and the way she felt towards others. she grew cold and hateful towards carson, seeing him as the reason she can't live the life she wants. feeling alone, carson turned towards his only friend for support. in school, he started to act out. this was the beginning of when he realized the internalized anger towards himself he had he could express in.. less than healthy ways. when carson turned eighteen, he left the house his mother lived in and ran from her and her boyfriend, who had been less than pleasant to carson for the past two years. he lived in his car for a little over a year, jumping from state to state. since he's left the house and his only family, things have gotten a little better. he had found a job in a book store, discovered his love for painting, and had started coming down from his impulsive behavior. his life still wasn't perfect, but he was in an extended stay hotel, and was happier than he'd been before. now he's coming back to his home town, ready to start again and become a better person.
relationships ; carson has never really been one for romantic relationships, although he does have what he calls his "favorite person", who he would literally die for, and does anything in his power to make them happy. He's not close with his mother at all, and he was never introduced to the rest of his family.
