Autumn nodded slowly when Aiden said what house he was in. Aiden seemed nice though, so he wouldn't pay much mind to the fact that he was a Slytherin "Me too." he smiled, absentmindedly stroking the small cat. He really did hope they could be friends, he had had a lot of trouble making friends at Hogwarts for some reason.. probably because he was so quiet and didn't want to bother people. All of his fellow Grffindors were nice though, thankfully.
Autumn turned his attention back to Aiden "Are you Scottish? I'm just curious, because of your accent." Scottish accents had always been one of Autumn's favorites, they were somehow calming. Autumn hated his British accent, he wasn't really sure why... He just did.

Aiden chuckled softly before nodding. "Yup. I'm also one of the few members of my family not to have red hair and abundant amounts of freckles. My oldest brother doesn't have them either. He also wasn't a Ravenclaw. I have a lot in common with him actually." Aiden let out another laugh before realizing how insane he probably sounded. He sunk back into the chair before having a mini-panic attack over the upcoming year. He was practically outed last year, and no one would forget that. "This year is going to be great. The best one yet." He said sarcastically after letting out a sigh.

"So most of your family is in Ravenclaw? My parents are muggles and I don't have any siblings so I was pretty shocked when I got the Hogwarts letter, I had no idea Hogwarts even existed. Autumn stopped talking when he realized that he was rambling, but chuckled at what Aiden said about the coming year "Maybe this year won't be so bad? Last year probably wasn't the best year for me, but this year might be different." he said with a shrug. He was going to miss Hogwarts.. it had sort of become home and the thought of this being his last year was a little heart breaking to him..

Aiden nodded. ”Yeah. It was pretty upsetting to o my family when I wrote back to them saying I got sorted into Slytherin.” He shrugged and began picking at a hangnail. ”No. I know how Slytherins are, they’re nasty. And this year will probably be hell for me. For uh, reasons.” He avoided admiting why his year would be horrible, he figured Autumn probably wasn’t homophobic but that wasn’t really a risk he was willing to take, besides what if Autumn outed him to the whole school? His siblings would find out extremely quick, then he’d be kicked out. Although, that probably wouldn’t be the worst thing, he could possibly meet his brother for the first time in years.

Autumn sighed. He didn't see why Slytherins would be nasty to a fellow Slytherin, but Aiden obviously knew them better than he did.
Autumn ran a hand through his hair, getting lost in his thoughts. Aiden seemed different from other Slytherins, somehow. Something about him intrigued Autumn... He wasn't really sure what.. Autumn quickly snapped back into reality and realized he had been staring at Aiden the whole time he was thinking, not really realizing it. He quickly looked down, blushing slightly.

Aiden chuckled, noticing the other boy’s blush. “So...” He said awkwardly, unsure of what to say. ”Sorry, im really awkward.” He mumbled and glanced around the carriage. The silence was nice it was never really quiet at home, his siblings were always loud and sure to bother him. The only times when it was silent at home was during the night at three in the morning, some of the time anyway, and in the Hogwarts library. The library was one of his favorite places in Hogwarts because of this.

Autumn chuckled "I'm the same way.." he sighed and looked out of the window for a while, watching the scenery absentmindedly. The train ride to Hogwarts was always so beautiful, but since it was raining there wasn't much to see.
Autumn yawned quietly after a while and turned his attention back to Aiden "So, do you do Quidditch?" be asked, trying not to seem antisocial. Grffindor had only played against Slytherin a few times since he became Seeker, and when they had he'd never really payed much attention to the other seekers face, and had just focused on winning.

Aiden nodded and let out a soft chuckle. "Yup. Slytherin's seeker. You?" He replied happily, eager to get off the train, yet not eager to see his classmates.
"Going to miss Hogwarts. Our last train ride here, one more back." The taller male sighed, not really sure what to say. He turned his gaze to the cat in Autumn's lap. "What's his name?" Aiden asked softly in an attempt to create small talk.

Autumn nodded slowly, slightly surprised he'd never noticed that Aiden was the Slytherin seeker "I'm the Grffindor seeker.." he replied, hoping that this wouldn't do anything to ruin the friendship that they might have.
Autumn nodded when Aiden pointed out that this would be they're last train ride Hogwarts. He hadn't really thought about it like that until now, and the thought was giving him mixed feelings. He would miss Hogwarts, but in a way he would be relieved that he wouldn't have to worry about school anymore.
Autumn smiled when Aiden asked what his cat's name was, glancing down at the small black animal in his lap "His name's Loki." he chuckled, stroking the cat's back absentmindedly as his mind wandered.. again. He had a very short attention span.

Aiden nodded. "Doesn't really matter to me. Best of luck though." He chuckled and stretched his legs, which were already falling asleep, the short amount of time he had been sitting down for not even affecting him. He gave a half smile in the cat's direction, not that he was expecting anything back. "Loki. I like it. Sound's dangerous, it really fits him. Although, he doesn't look terribly dangerous." The tall male let out a quiet yawn and looked over in Autumn's direction. "I love your hair color. It's so simple and calming, makes me feel... warm in a sense."
