History: As a small child her parents couldn't explain the strange things their daughter did. Ginger was considered an outcast at her old schools for the strange things she could do. When she got to Hogwarts she was determined to be the best she could at everything she did.

Fears: the dark, loud noises, having an anxiety attack in public.

History: draco's father, lucius is an active death eater ad is expecting draco to follow in his footsteps. draco is struggling to figure if he wants to become a death eater or to stay away from the dark arts. the malfoys have been pure-bloods since the dawn of time and is also expected to keep the legacy.

Ginger was fast asleep on the couch of Draco's room which she had snuck into the night before after having a particularly bad dream. She had stolen his robes from the floor and used it as a blanket. She hadn't let her presence be known because she didn't want to wake him up from his sleep. She was sleeping so well she had the tiniest bit of drool on the corner of her mouth. It was late Saturday morning and a lot of students were outside since it was nice.

draco slept soundly during the night, not waking when ginger came into his room. draco woke up as the light began to peek through the curtains hanging over the window. he sat up before noticing a body sleeping with his robes. upon further inspection, draco discovered the sleeping form was his girlfriend, ginger. he smiled to himself, knowing that she felt safe with him despite his past experiences.

Ginger was out cold until the sunlight hit her face and she groaned rolling over and pushing her face into the couch cushions muttering about someone turning the sun on. she pulled his cloak over her head so she was back in the darkness. She muttered to herself and partially to Draco not knowing he was awake. "Stupid Slytherins and your stupid sunlight." Ginger tended to be grumpy in the morning until she had coffee.

draco smirked and stood up quietly, walking towards her. he sat next to her and pulled the cloak away from her face. "pretty sure i don't control the sunlight, kitten." draco pulled her into his arms, holding her against his chest. he held her close, savoring the moment he spent with ginger.

ginger laughed smiling at the sound of draco's morning voice. "if you did you would put it back down so I can sleep more right?" she had yet to find a nickname for draco that she liked so far so she just called him draco or any other dumb name she could think of. She cuddled into his chest with his cloak draped over her shoulders.

"maybe." draco kissed her cheek gently. "what would you give me in return?" he smiled, knowing he wouldn't ask ginger to do anything for him. he was surprised she had accepted his request to asking her out. draco wasn't the best student and with his parents having connections to he who must not be named, he was surprised anyone was close to him, or wanted to be close. draco returned to reality and snuggled with ginger.

ginger grinned up at him. "whatever you want that is in within reason." she knew about draco's parents and how horrible they were to him. he had this hard exterior but he just needed someone to love and care for him. ginger vowed to herself that she would do whatever she needed to keep draco safe, even if it meant leaving hogwarts. the two had been together romantically since the end of their fifth year. "You know I would do anything for you right?"
