Personality: Mercedes is a very warm and inviting person, never one to have negative feelings. She will never hesitate to walk right up to ya and have a nice conversation.
She's also very adventurous and stubborn which gets her into a lot of trouble.
History: Mercedes wasn't the most loved one out of her three siblings. Being the youngest, her family would expect her to become independent like her other sisters.
For example she was always bullied in school, called names, had fake friends, etc. Whenever she needed help for her math homework, nobody would help her and just tell her "deal with it", or "so?". Her parents always had something to get her in trouble for, like 'stealing her sisters clothes' or 'smart mouthing' anyone in the household. Mercedes hated being treated like crap and soon began thinking of harming herself, but what stopped her was her close friend.

Malaki's a fairly neutral guy. He doesn't talk much with people he doesn't know, and doesn't normally take sides with things unless it's something he deems as important. He finds it easy to procrastinate nearly everything, thus far living a pretty lax and lied-back life. Malk is confident in his own abilities, at times boarding on overly so, but knows when to back off. He can be very flirtatious when someone catches his interest, although he is not the best with explaining his emotions in regard to this.

His father was in and out of jail when he was younger, until his mother finally decided to break things off with him, knowing that he would eventually become a less than favorable influence on their son. Because of this dynamic, Malaki was a latchkey kid for the duration of his childhood, always finding some way to quench his boredom. At times, these things were not activities that his mother would approve of.

Mercedes sat, perched up on the roof of her one-story house. Her hair waved in the wind as chilly breezes flew by. Her hazel gaze landed on a few objects outside. Boredom was killing her mood so she decided to head out and maybe walk around the neighborhood, possibly catching Maliki around too. Mercedes quickly and carefully climbed down the roof and began on her small journey, with a smile playing on her lips.

Malaki huffed in annoyance, finally standing in the middle of the freshly cleaned living room. His mother had been too busy with work to help much around the house, juggling two jobs and a couple courses that she was taking online. The majority of the housework had fallen onto him, much to his own displeasure. Alas, he would feel too guilty to ignore these responsibilities. Sweeping his hair back from his face, he walked over to the window and pushed the thin veil of curtains aside, glancing outside just in time to see Mercedes walk past the end of the street. Pulling out his phone, he texted her a quick "wait up" before grabbing the new things he needed and heading out after her, hoping that she would indeed stop for him.

Mercedes felt a buzz in her back pocket and she pulled out her phone,
reading Malaki's text. She hadn't even realized she passed his home until she looked to her right, noticing a figure by the window. Waiting patiently for her friend, she messed around with her phone until he came rushing out. "Hey!", She greeted a friendly smile resting on her lips. Mercedes pulled herself close to him in a hug and she pulled away. "Whatcha want to do today?",
She asked with a tilt of her head.

Malaki shoved his phone back into his pocket as he left the house, locking the door behind him and adding the key in with his phone. He walked quickly, and it didn't take him long to catch up with Mercedes. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as she greeted him, pulling him into a hug shortly after. His arms wrapped around her shorter figure was several moments, but of course it ended all too soon. It wasn't like he was going to complain though. "I didn't really have anything in mind. I feel like I've been playing maid all day. Where were you heading?" he questioned. It wouldn't be surprising if she didn't have a specific location, but he asked anyways.

Mercedes returned the smile before hearing his comment about cleaning all day.
"Awww, poor baby", she cooed playfully, rubbing his back. Mercedes then dropped her hands to her sides and shrugged. "Let's ding dong ditch", she suggested with a playful look and tone. It would be fun to see the neighborhoods priceless confusion as they checked their doors. Despite wanting to play the game, she knew if they were caught she would get in trouble, possibly getting Malaki in trouble as well. Most people here knew her as Mercy or 'the kid who gets bullied', but they also knew her parents from previous events.

Malaki couldn't help but let out a short laugh at her comment to his complaint, playfully giving her a roll of his eyes. He lifted his brows as she suggested ding dong ditching, shooting her a sidelong glance as he began walking in the same direction that she had been heading previously. "Somewhat childish, don't you think?" he questioned, turning his line of sight back to the road in front of them. "What, did you never get to indulge in it when you were, like, ten?" Nevertheless, he wouldn't stop her if that was her planned evening activity.

Mercedes pouted then scoffed at him. "Pfft, I think it's actually fun", she replied crossing her arms. "But I mean if you don't want to do it then you don't have to",
she said and began walking beside him. Her gaze was on the road ahead, thinking about many things to do but none seem fun.
Mercedes yawned out of boredom, dragging her feet as they walked.
