"The best part about looking to the stars, is sometimes they look back-- and you can see yourself
within them.
" Passing a brief gaze over to the girl that walked with him at his side, he caught her
smile and felt a warmth bloom in his chest-- something that he had felt very seldom. Long ebony hair
tossed idly in the oncoming breeze of the chilly night, irises tracing the features of her face as if to
memorize them.

"They see everything, sometimes looking to them for answers is the best way to get some." It
was poetic in nature, something that may have seemed odd to state so nonchalantly at first glance--
but the deeper one dug into what he was saying, there was true feelings behind those words. Real
experiences to back up such a mystical statement. "So yeah, I guess you could say I do."

Baritone tenor rolled off the tip of his tongue, somehow rather comfortable with speaking to Ari,
which also didn't come around often. A sense of belonging, strong enough to drive conversation.

    ( A R R I E T T Y ! ! )

They were sentiments she'd never expressed out loud herself- probably because it sounded awkward when she tried. It sounded simple and perfectly normal coming from him. Maybe it was because every time she'd tried to speak those same thoughts, it was to people who couldn't care less. This was much better- and it wasn't just because he had a nice voice. She did like the sound of it. She smiled again, this time full and unhindered.

"That sounds about right," she agreed casually, blowing a wisp of hair out of her eyes. She hesitated slightly, less afraid to speak her heart after he'd apparently done the same. Somehow she felt it wouldn't be as strange saying it to him. "Though I can't say I find answers in the stars. Just this calm feeling- but it's always temporary, you know? It never seems to last long." The lights of their market destination could be seen now, and she estimated they had perhaps seven or eight minutes left in their walk. It was a shame. Arrietty was not a very talkative or social person, but she would've willingly spent all night with Ryn, just talking about the stars.
