Happy~ and Meeshi |The Next Chapter|

Ryan-
I glanced at him and bit my lip, "We have very little money, Alex. The money I earned today is only going towards the hospital bill today. You bought lots of clothes, and you hurt yourself and caused a big bill. I didn't want you to feel bad. I just want you to be happy, regardless of me." I say. "If I die, I still want you to be happy."

[Happy~]

Alex:
I looked down in shame, "I'm sorry." I say. I knew it had been to many clothes but it just felt nice to have something that belonged to me again. "If you die then I'll probably die as well from heart break." I inform him. With a sigh I say, "I understand your reasoning for lieing, but if we're to have a strong relationship and for this ritual to work then we need to be honest." I tell him, "I'm going to bed." I say and give him a quick kiss to his cheek before walking out of the kitchen and to the bedroom. Curling up on the bed I close my eyes and feel silent tears slide down so I hide my face in a pillow. I just used the blanket from earlier to cover up with.

Ryan-
I was slightly annoyed but as I watched him go, I rested on the counter. Sighing, I finished cleaning the dishes and putting them away. I didn't go to bed for a while, I first took a shower, made sure everything was off in the house before sitting in the front of the window and just looking outside. I don't know how we had made it work before, but it just felt like everything was slowly getting worse and I couldn't do anything about it. Maybe that's why his feathers were falling out? That thought reduced me to tears.

[Happy~]

Alex:
It wasn't until later that I began to have a nightmare. I cried and whimpered as I tossed and turned on the bed, unable to get away from the terrible scene. Soon i woke though, sitting up and starting to cough from how hard i was crying. Getting out of the bed I head for the kitchen to get some water, not noticing Ryan at the window as I entered the kitchen. Getting a glass I drink it, still crying as I remember the dream in detail, "Ryan..." I whimper softly and shut my eyes tightly.

Ryan-
I had since stopped crying and just stared at the trees that waved back at me. When I heard footsteps come out of the bedroom, I turned around before standing up and walking to the kitchen. I paused in the kitchen doorway before walking through to Alex and gently hugging him from behind, "Hey, Whats wrong?"

[Happy~]

Alex:
"You died..." I whimper, leaning into his chest as I drank more water then set it down. "I watched you get killed by a fallen angel." I tell him and turn so I was facing him, looking up at him. "I'm sorry about our little argument, I love you." I say and wrap my arms around him tightly in a hug, laying my head on his chest. I was still crying but softly now as I closed my eyes again, my hand aching a bit along with my heart. My wings sprouted from my back in an attempt to hide me but ended up wrapping around Ryan as well, a feather floating by his head in its decent to the ground. In my distressed state two more fell with it, smaller than the previous one.

Ryan-
I quickly hugged him back and said, "It's okay, I'm sorry for lying. I shouldn't have done it. A relationship is built on trust and honesty." I gently rubbed his back, and when he wings sprouted, I ran my fingers through his feathers, watching sadly as some of them fell out of his wings.

[Happy~]

Alex:
As his fingers went through my feathers I was able to relax a bit more, "Will you come to bed now?" I ask him. "Lets not worry about it anymore." I say, referring to earlier. A thunderstorm was starting outside and I nuzzled closer to Ryan for comfort.

Ryan-
I nodded, agreeing for once that to put it behind us was the best thing to do. I gently grabbed his hand and began to lead him back to the bedroom, "I'm going to make sure you sleep nice and well!"

[Happy~]

Alex:
I smile them giggle as I follow after him. I didnt retract my wings, they helped me feel safe but a few feathers dropped in the hallway though I didn't pay them any mind. I just wanted a night without a nightmare.
