[Happy~]

(Time for a skip through time)

I was dressed in all black, strapping on my boots as I sat on the bed. Even though I was nervous I didn't let it show around Kelsie, knowing he worried enough. My wings were tucked behind my back and a dagger was strapped to my side. Standing I looked at my self in the mirror, they called these clothes war clothes. They were mostly leather and durable, but also very flexible.

Kelsie-
Tonight was the night for his mission, and it scared me beyond belief. I stood in the kitchen, cleaning some pans to try and distract my mind but it wasn't working as I though of all the horrible ways that Link could die.

Because he was my mate I could sense his discomfort, it filled up our whole apartment. Silently walking to the kitchen I wrap my arm around him from behind, setting my head on his shoulder and kissing his cheek. My black hair had been slicked back, no glitter glinting in it tonight.

Kelsie-
I jumped when I felt his hands on me and when he kissed me. "Link." I turned around to look at him and smiled, "You look handsome."

Link:
"Sorry." I say when I felt him jump. I kept my arms wrapped around him as he turned, "Thanks." I say with a small smile, though I didn't feel handsome it was nice of him. I felt more like a warrior or soldier, even though I wouldn't be doing any actual fighting. "I know your worried, I can feel it pulsating from you like a heartbeat." I say, gazing down at him as my arms tighten around him, my wins spreading out a bit. "Some angels and their mates can feel when the other is in distress or worry, normally when its in great abundance." I explain to him, "Not all angels and their mates have this bond." I say.

Kelsie-
That freaked me out more, now realising that he knew I was scared for him, "Oh...i guess we're pretty lucky then." It was sort of comforting to hear after a bit and I said, "Just come home safe, then I'll feel better."

[Happy~]

Link:
"I will." I say and tilt my head down to kiss him, my eyes closing as I take one of his hands in mine. My wings encircling us, blocking everything else out but the love I feel for him. I break the kiss a minute later, "You don't have to stay here alone...you can go to Ryan's." I say.

Kelsie-
I nodded and said, "I'm just gonna stay here and wait till you get back, Link."

[Happy~]

Link:
"Alright." I say and give him a quicker kiss this time, "I'll be back soon." I say and squeeze his hand before turning to leave, closing the door as I do. Once I was out of the apartment I felt my hands began to shake but calmed them, telling myself I would be fine and that I wouldn't leave Kelsie alone in this world, not like what Alex did to Ryan.

Kelsie-
I nodded and forced a big smile to help make him feel better, "Yeah, Good luck, babe." I was worried he'd get hurt like he had before, or he'd never come back, not so much about me being left alone. He was the best thing to ever happen to me and I was going to protect that.
