Link:
"I met him when he was still a teenager. I took him in and started to train him in fighting and hunting, I took Alex in too. I remember when they broke up, this guy Jacob started to date Alex. It was something that Ryan had said or done that caused the split between them, I'm worried that it's going to be a cycle for them." I rub his back a bit, glancing down at him.

Kelsie-
I figured out almost immediately that Link was like a father figure to him and I replied, "Well, that sucks... there has got to be something you can do to help them...or maybe you can't. Maybe they just are not meant to really be."

[Happy~]

Link:
"That's not my place to say. They'll know if their meant for each other if they do the bonding ritual, if they both feel the shift in their relationship then they'll know. But Ryan is also the only one that can touch Alex's wings." I tell him, "Just like your the only one that can touch mine." I life his head up and a plant a kiss on his lips, pushing some of my love into it.

Kelsie-
I nodded than kissed him back, gently moving closer to him, "But is it possible to touch another's wing and it not be real love?" I wonder than ask again, "What if feathers fall out or something?"

Link:
I think about it, "Well, I mean you don't have to be in love with the person that can touch your feathers. You could he in love with someone else, or that person could be in love with someone else." I tell him. "Once a feather falls out then it doesn't matter." I say, "Any one can touch that feather." I tell him, surprised he was so interested. Running a hand through his hair again I kiss his cheek then lay next to him, wrapping my arms around his torso and laying my head on his chest.

Kelsie-
I nodded and gently place one hand on his head, wriggling my fingers through his hair, "Okay...but what I mean is your feathers never fall out, why is that?" I glanced down at him, wrapping an arm around him securely.

Link:
I shrug, "It's very uncommon for the feathers to fall out, at times it can mean that the person is very sick from a disease prone to angels or that their dieing." I tell him. "But mostly it means that the wings are getting bigger. Alex and I have average sized wings. An angels wings are able to wrap around their body and protect them. If the wings were to get bigger it would mean more protection." I say, closing my eyes and relaxing under his touch. "It also has something to do with the bonding ritual but I'm not sure." I say.

Kelsie-
I nodded, intrested in all this angel information I was learning. I saw he had closed his eyes and I gave him a gentle kiss on top of his head, "Okay, good to know." Glancing around the room I finally settled down and tried to let Link sleep.

Link:
I smile a bit more and start to drift off to sleep when the doctor walks in, a nurse behind him. Opening my eyes I look at the doctor, my head still rested on Kelsie's chest. "Tomorrow you can be discharged from the hospital. But you are on strict orders to do very little for a week, Kelsie I'm hoping you can make sure he doesn't lift anything, strain himself or open the stitches. You'll be given medicine when you leave and will have to come back next week to check the stitches. Your wing is fully healed so we'll be taking the bandage off today." It was a lot to take in but I nod and sit up so he can get the bandage off of my wing. Holding Kelsie's hand I give it a squeeze then glance at the nurse as she begans to unravel the bandage while the doctor holds the wing steady. The doctor wasn't fond of Kelsie at all and didn't trust him to take care of me outside of the hospital, he didn't voice this but it was evident in the way that he looked at Kelsie and his body language. "I expect you to have a better hold on him this time, no more long walks till we give the clear." He said, his eyes boring into Kelsie while he balled up the bandage then threw it away. I stretched my wings, enjoying the feeling before glaring at the doctor. I knew they didn't like demons from the attacks from before but Kelsie was different. The doctor left while the nurse stayed to check my chest and breathing. Her hand had accidentally brushed Kelsie during the exam and she pulled away as if he had burned her, her accusing eyes grazing over him. Giving me a shot she then gathered her things and left.

Kelsie-
I was happy to hear that Link was doing os much better, but when the doctor accused me of not looking after him good enough I frowned. I gently held onto Link's hand, gently stroking his arm before replying to the doctor carefully, "Yeah, I'll keep a better eye on him, sorry." When the nurse brushed my arm, I glanced at her but when she pulled away, I frowned. I could feel my heart dropping between my ribs, down into a deep pit. I wasn't wanted here at all, it was obvious by the way everyone talked and stared at me like I was going to kill someone. Taking a deep breath, I tell myself I need to be strong and prove them all wrong. Looking at Link, I give him a kiss, "I love you."
