"I honestly think we've earned ourselves a day of relaxation due to the whole mission yesterday" John said he was holding two containers of food one for himself and another for Frederic but he was glad to that Kelly agreed that heading back to their room and dropping off Frederic's food on the way was the more sensible idea.

Jack nodded and shook her hand "So have you actually eaten anything today, I mean I normally don't eat the food in the cafeteria as I tend to cook and prepare my own food but I suppose we could go eat something at the base's cafeteria if you haven't eaten anything today." Jack said

"Once we get to the cafeteria I would suggest setting me on my feet, I don't want you to have to carry me around the whole time but If you notice me start to have balance issues because of my lack of sleep, I'd recommend making sure I don't fall," Sarah said yawning again and closing her eyes again she was having trouble staying awake though she was quite comfortable she wasn't going to make Tom carry her constantly she had just needed him to carry her because fear had kind of made her not want to move but she was calm now so the only concern was that she'd fall over due to lack of sleep.

"If you want to understand why I'm fussing about you eating it's because I don't want you passing out on me, while you're in charge of making sure I don't do anything to jeopardize my healing. " Inna said

((I feel like we should have some time pass nothing big just an hour which is probably how long it takes to have lunch. And aslo because I forgot about Linda and Mikhail))

Kelly nodded as she smiled. Relaxing sounded so good to her. Especially after eating breakfast. They were indeed bust yesterday so it would feel good to relax. " I have to agree with you. " She said.

Ikroa smiled before she placed her hand back at her side after he had shook it. She hadn't had anything to eat yet this morning. She didn't mind if they got food at the cafeteria. Then again, home made cooked food sounded so much better to her. " I don't mind either. Cooking homemade food does sound so much better. " She said.

Tom looked down at her before nodding. " Alright. " He said, as he kept on walking. He didn't mind if he did keep carrying her. It wasn't like his arms would get tired at all. Once they did make it to the cafeteria, he set her down on her feet.

Cayde chuckled as he looked down at her. " Don't worry. I won't pass out. " He said, as he gave her a small smile. The truth was he didn't want to pass out at all. It would be ackward if he did. Very ackward.

Sarah let out a sigh they had eaten already and she was in Tom's room at the moment sitting on his bed trying her best to stay awake and finish the conversation. "Tom you know I am glad that you're here now, just wish command had sent you with me, Also I am not tired I swear," Sarah said yawning although she didn't want Tom to tell her she needed to sleep since she was clearly laying her head on the pillow that was on Tom's bed.

Inna had gotten some rest after she'd eaten and seemed to have awoken a bit startled she seemed to cover her face with her hands realizing that she was back at the infirmary in base, she was trying to hide the fact that she was indeed crying, she'd had nightmares since being rescued but this one was probably the worst one she'd had since her rescue. The others had been not as bad and weren't nearly enough to cause her to wake up crying.

John sighed with a bit of relief he was glad to have a day to relax especially with Kelly, it wasn't like he didn't find yesterdays mission incredibly stressful so just lazily laying on the bed was his idea of a relaxing day especially when it came to spending time with Kelly.

Jack smiled and just let out a sigh "You know my armor does some pretty cool things I was kind of wanting to ask if you wanted to see what I can actually do, I mean normally I wouldn't show anyone what I can do with it on but I think you'd find it interesting it's just that I'm not sure if the training equipment can handle but hey if it can't and I break something at least you'll be able to see how I fight in a combat situation" Jack said he had been happy to cook for her as he was a hunter and he preferred to prepare his own food.

Frederic sighed walking around the base he honestly wasn't sure why but he was wanting to meet some of Buck's teammates, Buck had said there was a Sangheili defector by the name of Usze 'Taham on his team and he was genuinely curious about the Sangheili so he'd decided to stick around Buck to wait around for the remainder of his team to arrive.

Buck sighed he wondered when they would get there exactly as he knew that command had kept them busy, he worried about his team though as they were a rather small team and the fact they had Usze on their team meant that they weren't exactly your normal ODST team.

Tom looked over at her before he chuckled. She did look tired to him so he wasn't sure if she was telling the truth. Then again, he had feeling she was. Seeing her yawn was a indication she was indeed tired. " Are you sure? I mean you sure do look tired? " He asked.

Cayde looked over at the female as he was confused. Was she alright? It didn't look like she was which made him worried about the female. Very worried indeed. " Are you ok? " He asked, as he looked at her. Something was worng and there was no way she could hide it from him.

Kelly looked over at him as she smiled. " Hopefully nothing comes up. " She said. It was nice to relax, and that. Of course if something did come up, she would of course had to do it. Still, the medic hoped nothing would come up at all.

Ikora looked over at him as she smiled. She would love to see what his amour could do. It would be neat for sure for her. " I would love too. " She said, as she smiled. Oh, she just couldn't wait. The Spartan was very excited.

Victoria walked around the base as she was rather bored. She wanted something to do, or someone to talk too. Yea, that would be much better then being bored for sure. She kept on walking until she almost bumped into a male figure. Luckily, she had seen him before she crashed right into him. " Sorry. " She said, softly.

Hazel sat down as she waited for Buck. He was going to introduce her to this new guy. He wasn't a human at all which made her sightly nervous. Ah, well she had to get use to him either way.

Sarah looked at him she could tell he could see through her lie, "Okay you're right I am tired, but I still don't want to sleep well actually truthfully I'm afraid of having nightmares again I mean maybe I"ll sleep better with you around but I'm still not sure it will keep the nightmares away," Sarah said she was getting tired sure but when she decided to sit up on his bed and spoke again "Tom I know I don't ask for hugs very often but I kind of want to be hugged and held at moment" Sarah said she rarely ever asked him that directly so fot her to ask meant that whatever nightmares she had involved him as the last time she had asked she was genuinely afraid of losing Thomas even though his job consisted of not being in the line of fire or at least it used too.

"It's nothing I swear, I'm fine," Inna said uncovering her face she was trying to hide it at first but she realized he probably would bother her about it and then added "Okay I'm not okay Cayde, I've been having nightmares since you rescued me they haven't been that bad until now at least. I just don't like to ask for people to comfort me because I'm supposed to be the commander of the base here, everyone expects me to act like there isn't anything wrong with me." Inna said she had never really opened up to anyone about that.

"I doubt anything will come up I mean we've been here for a while and no one has asked us to report in yet," John said putting his arms around Kelly and just holding her, he was happy at the moment.

Frederic looked at her and just smiled "It's fine really aren't you on Edward Buck's team?" Frederic asked as he was curious since he somewhat remembered Buck pointing her out to him.

Buck sighed watching Usze 'Taham walk off of Pelican the Sangheili was clearly wary of everyone and he wasted no time walking over to Buck. "I see you finally arrived Usze," Buck said he could tell the Sangheili was quite on edge and wary as he'd been picked on several times when he was on Infinity.

Usze looked at Buck rather nervously "It's strange that most of the humans here aren't looking at me like I am threat" Usze said it seemed like they were all used to defectors he glanced at Hazel who seemed to be a short distance away he was curious about her and seemed to slowly walk over with Buck following him.

Jack smiled and stood up motioning for Ikroa to follow him he was of course already partially demonstrating the fact that the armor could control electricity by playing with a ball of controlled electric energy in his right hand. "Everyone calls me a walking emp as I'm capable of taking out electronics within a 100 ft radius of myself though I'll try to avoid that since your arm is robotic and I don't want to cause issues with the base's computers," He said

Tom looked over at Sarah as he nodded. He felt bad that she was afraid of having nightmares. Nightmares were no fun, and sometimes kept you up if it was that serious of one. He smiled as he looked over at her. " Of course. " He said, as he walked over to the female. He then hugged Sarah as he kept the female close to him.

Cayde chuckled as he knew she wasn't fine at all. He could easily tell, and it was quite obvious too. " I'm sorry that you have been having nightmares. " He aid. He wished he could help her with them, but there was nothing he could really do. Maybe comfort her, but that was really it. He couldn't well stop her from having them. That was something he couldn't do.

" Yea. I just hope so. " Kelly said, as she snuggled against him. She just wanted to stay here, and spend time with him.

Victoria looked over at Frederic as she nodded. " Yep. " She said, as she smiled.

Hazel looked up to see Buck with Usze. So this was the new guy. " Hey. Who's the new guy? " She asked, as she looked over at him.

Ikora followed after him as she watched him. She thought it was pretty neat what he could do. She chuckled softly as she looked over at him. " It's alright. " She said.

"I know you're sorry but it's really more of the fact that I need comfort, I just am not sure if your even willing to just hold me, It feels awkward asking that of you but truthfully, I need it, I mean I don't have my PTSD dog Jericho with and can't bring him here because he's trained to lay on top of me so that would actually hurt me." Inna said and added "I was meaning to tell that I think you are a good looking guy but I was afraid to tell you before because I thought you'd only think it was the medicine talking," She said hoping he'd actually hold her as she really needed that and she actually was a bit cold at moment so she'd have appreciated the warmth anyway

Sarah seemed to lean on him as he hugged her closing her eyes, it was at first relaxing but then she actually started to randomly get the hiccups which to her was not fun she figured it was likely because she was stressed and tired but hopefully Tom holding her would calm her down a bit. "I love you, Tom, I know I don't say it often enough but I really do love you, I'll try to fall asleep but I can't make any promises there won't be nightmares again I know you won't stop bothering me about sleeping until I do anyway, but I feel a bit safer knowing that you're here and not on the Infinity." She said hiccuping once again and trying her best to just sleep in his arms.

Jack seemed to find the outdoor target practice area although it looked like the targets where automated on an electricity system Jack did not really care as he seemed more intent on showing off and let loose a few bolts of electricity practically destroying and breaking the equipment by accident before just rubbing the back of his head "Uh I forget that nothing here is designed to handle Foros armor at all." He said and added "Mikhail's going to yell at me for that, I'll write up an incident report, later," He said with a sigh as he'd now have to write up another incident report about breaking the equipment for like the fourth time this week.

"This is Usze 'Taham he's a Sangheili defector who works with the arbiter who is the leader of a group of Sangheili defectors. He's been assigned to the team cause well we kind of need someone who knows English and the Sangheili language and well he just happens to be an excellent warrior" He said

Usze nodded at Buck and held out his hand for hazel to shake "Just call me Usze not many people can pronounce the rest of my name." He said he had made an effort to learn a lot about human cultures and other human languages, he was even considering getting a pet his kind did not commonly keep pets.

Mikhail sighed as he walked around the base and passed by the outdoor training area and just let out a sigh "Well there goes the outdoor training area it's just my luck that this is the fourth time this week we've had the Foros army's former general and leader break the training equipment outside due to his elemental armor" He said looking at Linda and just shaking his head.

"I'm Frederic I work with blue team and the Master Chief himself," Frederic said extending his hand to let her shake his hand, he honestly did not expect to have almost run into him which he would have helped her up anyway.

Cayde looked at her before he nodded. " Of course. " He said, before he hugged her. He was here for her. He chuckled softly before he blushed. " Well, thank you, hun. " He said, as he smiled.

Tom chuckled when he heard the hiccups come from her. Hiccups weren't really that fun to deal with. Water always helped him get rid of them. " I love you too. " He said, as he smiled.

Ikora watched as she was rather impressed. She had never seen something like that before. It was very cool to her. " I must say I am impressed. We should have a training fight one time. See who could take each other down faster. " She said, as she tried to lighten the mood.

Hazel nodded as she looked at his hand. She then shook it before setting her hand back down to her side again. " I'm Hazel. " She said. She thought it would be quite interesting to have a Sangheili defector on the team.

Linda nodded as she looked at him. " You know, I can always help. " She said. She didn't know what much to say about the equipment being damaged. That was something she couldn't well answer too.

Victoria smiled as she shook his hand. " Victoria. " She said, as she smiled.

"It fine we have people to repair it so no need too, I just need to tell command we need equipment built to handle foros armor." Mikhail said and added " Did anyone ever tell that you are absolutely gorgeous" he said

Inna seemed to just snuggle her head into Cayde's shoulder happy to have comfort from him, she had closed her eyes but she was still awake. "Just don't leave without telling me okay, I get anxious and nervous without my dog or other people" She said

" Well if we do spar I have to put on my standard issue Spartan armor because Foros armor was designed to counter UNSC armor and it can get highly unstable if I over use it." Jack said

Sarah had at least some what drifted into a light sleep though she had not yet stopped with hiccups, it didn't long before she started to have mild nightmares, which caused her to start whimpering, as well as muttering Tom's full first name, but having not yey realized it was only a dream she struggled a little bit against Tom's grip and let out a scared whine like she was struggling against an unseen enemy. she finally actually said something out loud. " Leave me alone, I won't give up anything to the covenant. No don't you dare hurt him I'll kill you." She muttered at first it was just that but within a few moments she started to struggle and panic in Tom's arms and actually yelled out for him using his full " Thomas Lasky!" Sarah yelled her voice sounding half asleep panicked and afraid it was obvious since she'd begun to cry again.

Linda nodded before her cheeks turned bright red. She looked down to hide the boys, but it was obvious she was. " No. Thank you. " She said, as she smiled. He was the first guy to say that to her.

Cayde looked down at her before he smiled. " No worries. I won't. " He said. He wouldn't dare leave her at all. He would stay with her of course.

Ikora nodded. " Alright. " She said. She was fine with that. It didn't bother her at all.

Tom looked down at her before he pulled her closer to him. " It's okay. I'm here. " He said. He knew it was indeed a dream. Not a good one at all.
