They drove for a short time and finally they had gotten there. “You can come in if you want”, she said before getting out of the car and unlocking the front door. She walked in and quickly went into her room, beginning to pack up some clothes. She put on her swimsuit and put on some shorts and a light shirt over.

Elias smiled at her, "I'll stay here." he told her before she left, knowing that it would be easier for both of them. Less of a distraction for her and less movement for him.

Lexani packed up some an extra outfit,putting her flip flops in the beach bag too. She had put on her swimsuit and put an oversized shirt over it. Finally she stuffed in sunscreen and a towel and then headed outside and into the car. “Alright let’s go!”, she exclaimed with an excited tone.

Elias smiled as she got back to the car, happy that he got to spend this time with her. He waited for get to buckle her seatbelt before heading towards the beach.

Lexani sat in the car, bobbing her head to the music and occasionally taking pictures of the road.

It wasn't long before Elias pulled off into the small parking lot which was littered with stray patches of sand and pebbles. Parking in a decent spot near the end of the lot, Eli smiled, looking over to Lexani and taking her hand for a moment, "Here we are! Wow, it feels like forever since we've been here together..."

Lexani sighed happily when he stopped the car in the parking spot. "I know right", she replied, allowing him to take her hand. After a few seconds of looking around she finally unfastened her seatbelt and hopped out the truck, heading to the back and taking out her bag. "Come on lets go!", she whined impatiently but playfully.

Elias smiled, letting her hand loose as she got out of the truck and got her stuff. He walked up to her and grabbed her bag, slinging it over his shoulder as he spoke, "I'll race you to the water!" he said in a playfully challenging tone as he stepped to the front bumper, a grin spreading across his face as he awaited her response.

Lexani smirked and stepped up beside him and kicked off her sandals and stuffing them into her bag. “Alright, 3...2...1!”, she yelled, running off quickly the second she finished counting. Lexani looked back to see where Eli was but she couldn’t tell because hair whipped in her face, nearly making her run into someone when she turned back around with hair covering her sight. The hot sand felt uncomfortable when she ran but it made her want to run faster to get into the cool water.

He smiled as she ran off, sprinting after her across the hot yet soft sand towards the water. He got close to her and decided to grab her arm and pull her playfully back a little, giving a slight chuckle, they were both fast. He dropped their stuff halfway to the water.
