Lenore winked at James as she took off into the capital. “Meet you at the lake!” Her horse was sturdy but rather fast with a mind seemingly of its own. Moose managed to keep up with the pair and when he got tired Lenore scooped him up and put him in the satchel on the saddle. The pair seemed to be having a marvelous time bobbing and weaving through all of the people on the street. Lenore however got distracted and came to a full stop outside a jeweler’s.

James laughed and let them go. He took off after them and stopped when she did. "What's wrong love?" He asked her. He was hoping that she was okay. He looked over at her and stayed close to her. "We should go get some rings while we are here. That should be the last thing we need to do correct?" He asked her and got off the horse and tied them both up so they could not run before he held out his hand for her and got Moose out of the pouch. He smiled at her.

Lenore nodded slowly, she was mesmerized by the shining gems behind the glass. Lenore walked in with him and squeeze his hand softly out of nervousness. There was one there that she absolutely adored, it matched the crown she was going to wear almost perfectly. It was covered in tiny pearls and diamonds. Moose made himself at home in the corner, curling into a ball and taking a nap.

James could tell what she wanted by the way she was looking at it. He kissed her cheek happily. "We will need that ring and... that one." He said pointing to one that matched but was plain. It was his style because it was not too over the top and he really liked it but definitely was not something that a king would normally pick. The man recognized him as the king and was clearly a bit confused. "King James, I can show you a lot more rings that are a lot fancier than that one. We could also draw one up and have it crafted for you." He said. James looked at the man. It was not the first time he had been recognized in public but he still thought that it was strange that everyone wanted him to have over the top things. He already lived in a palace, what more did he need?

Lenore blushed and leaned on her soon to be husband. “No I’m sure that one will be fine for him. He can get whatever he wants.” She kissed his cheek as she started to look around at the other jewels in the store. Lenore was amazed by the sheer size of some of the stones that they had. She felt a few were very heavy for her but she continued to search for the perfect necklace or broach for her gown, Lenore liked to match.

"That is true. I will have them cleaned and ready for you to take." He said to them. James smiled. "Thank you." He said to the man. He supported her weight happily. He looked around the store for something that he thought she would like and found a pearl necklace with a diamond that hung off of it in the center. "What about that one love?" He asked her happily. He took the rings in the boxes when they were handed to him. He waited to see if she also wanted the necklace with a bracelet to match before he paid.

Lenore stared at it with eyes like saucers, she wouldn’t even know where to begin in accepting such a generous gift, even from her fiancé. She of course thought it was beautiful and that it would go perfectly however she felt bad about how expensive it was. “Well, I- I, um.” She stuttered as her thoughts went a mile a minute with an arguement within herself. She paused and touched it softly, as if would shatter if she were not careful. “It’s beautiful.” She was mesmerized by all of the facets in the diamond.

James smiled happily at her. "I am so glad you think so. We will take those as well and these dimond earrings that will go perfectly as well." He said to the man. The man nodded and wrapped it all up and told hi the total. James paid not phased at all by how much it cost. She was worth every penny and he wanted to spoil her. He knew she had not gotten that as much when she was younger. He kissed her forehead. "Ready to go?" He asked taking the bag and then holding her hand as he walked out. He was so glad he had her and was so excited to marry her. He just wanted her to be happy.

Lenore blushed as they walked out together, not knowing what to expect when they returned home to the castle. She wanted to make him happy but didn’t know how. “So, what do you have to get done when we get back? Some important meetings?” Lenore’s mind somewhat wandered to the wedding they were about to have, and all the people they were expected to have at the reception. She understood that that was the way of doing things and that they had responsibilities to the family that supported to crown, but why did it have to involve so many people.

James looked at her as she spoke. "No. I am yours the whole day unless an emergency comes up." He said smiling a little at her. "My advisors are handling the kingdom today because I wanted a break to spend time with my Fiancée." He said smiling at her. "So we can do whatever you would like. We should do a little wedding planning though." He said. "Our weding is happening pretty soon. But I just want you to be happy with it. We have no control overwho can come to the reception or the crowning, but I still want the weding ceremony to be everything that you want it to be and more. I want you to be happy." He said to her. He kissed her forehead as he walked with her. He really was so happy with her.
