"Ya I will go get it." Liam said. He walked over to the door and opened it to be greeted by his friend throwing eggs at him. His friend looked at him. "You know the rules Liam and you broke them." He said. Liam shut the door and did not say a word. He went to the bathroom and shut and locked the door and started to clean up.

Amethyst watched the whole thing. She felt a bit mad. Amethyst went to the door and went over to Liam's friend. "Hey. That was rude of you to that! Just because he broke the rules. Just because he went with me doesn't mean you guys have to be mad." She turned around and headed back to the door. "You should probably apologize to him." She walked inside and went to the bathroom door. "I'm sorry that happened Liam." She sighed and sat on the ground.

His friend looked at her. "That is what the pact says. He knew when he invited me over that it would happen." He said and walked away. Liam finished cleaning up and then sat on the floor and put his head on his knees and thought. He did not say anything to her. He was not mad at her, it was just he did not trust his voice to speak. He stayed where he was and tried to calm down. He was not the type of person who cried very often and he did not cry this time but he was not wanting to talk about it.

Amethyst just sat there in the hallway. "That was rude of your friend. Even if you broke that Pact rule, it's just stupid that he threw an egg at your face." She sat there for a couple minutes before getting up. "I'm going to go walk on the beach. You can come if you like." She went outside and went to beach. She walked next to the water.

Liam did not want to go to the beach. He knew that it was rude but he also had thought it was a possibility that it would happen. He waited until she left and then left a recording saying that he was going to go for a drive to the store and would be back soon. It would turn on as soon as she walked in the door because he had set it up with a motion detector. He needed to get eye drops to help his eyes that were burning. He got in his car and drove to the store.

After a while Amethyst came back into the house. She heard the recording and got scared. She went to hide in the bedroom. "It sounded like Liam....but he isn't here.....So what was that?" She asked herself. Amethyst went into the closet and sat in there hugging one of Liam's jackets.

Liam got back from the store and went and turned off the recording. He did not see her so he assumed that she had not come back yet. He went into the bathroom and put the eye drops in. His eyes were bright red from being irritated. He sighed and went and laid on his bed and closed his eyes.

Amethyst heard someone come into the bedroom. She carefully opened it a little and saw Liam on the bed. She got out and got on the bed. "Liam! Someone is here! They sounded like you." She hugged him tightly. "They said something about going to the store. I'm scared Liam."

Liam sighed and hugged her. "It's okay. It was me. I recorded my voice so you would know that I went to the store. I did not mean to scare you." He said to her. He kept his eyes shut. He held onto her so she could calm down. He rubbed her back. "I did not want you to worry about me being gone." He said to her.

Amethyst calmed down. She looked at Liam and notice his eyes are closed. "Are you okay? You eyes are closed.....is it because of your friends?" By then she felt like it was her fault that Liam lost his friends.
