Liam took it so he could look at it closer. "This is a diamond. They are really valuable." He said to her. He handed it back to her so that she could keep it. "It is the same thing your ring is made out of." He said and kissed her head as he walked. He looked at all of the shells that were around and smiled. He liked them.

"Diamonds are shinny." Amethyst continued to walk. Everytime she found a intersting shell she would pick it up. She even found some shark teeth. When Amethyst got she poked Liam. "I'm getting tired. We should start heading back."

"Okay." He said and walked with her back toward the house.

When Amethyst got to the house she went to Liam's room and placed the sea shells on the dresser. She got under the covers and snuggled up to Liam.

Liam went and laid down with her and held her close. He was not very tired but he stayed. He looked at a book as he laid there until he fell asleep.

Amethyst woke up the next to some thunder outside. She yawned and then looked out the window to see it storming. She looked at Liam and hugged him super tight.

Liam woke up to being hugged really tight. "Amethyst you are holding too tight." He said to her.

Amethyst heard Liam and let go of him. "Sorry." She looked at him. "I didn't mean to wake you up either."

"It's okay." He said quietly. He was still tired. He closed his eyes and tried to get a little more sleep. He did not feel very good.

Amethyst just laid there listening to the thunder outside. After a while she got up and went to the kitchen to get something to eat.
