"Thank you." Liam said knowing that it was hard on her. He kissed her forehead and then walked out and went across the hall and into his fathers room and sat next to his mom. He looked at his father waiting for some kind of movement but his father stayed where he was. Liam looked over as the nurse walked in with Amethyst and he smiled a little bit. He gently took her hand and then closed his eyes for a moment trying to think and get things in his brain to calm down. Liam was not sure what to think at this point. He just hoped that his dad would be okay.

Amethyst hugged Liam tightly. She then remembered her amethyst necklace around Liam's neck. "Liam, the amethyst necklace. It can heal things." She smiled a little. "Maybe if you were to give that to your father he might get better." She let go of him and watched Liam and waited to see if he would do that. "It might take a bit of time since it isn't a huge crystal." Amethyst looked at Liam's mother. "Don't worry it's safe. I learned what type of crystals can do what." She smiled a again.

Liam hugged her back and looked at her a little confused when she said that. "So that is why when I cut myself, it healed quicker than normal. That makes a lot more sense." He said and stood and took the necklace off and gently put it on his father and then sat back down. He waited to see if anything would happen. His father was really hurt so he knew it would take a while for it to do anything. He sighed quietly and looked at his mom who was clearly upset that Amethyst was giving him false hope. He noticed it right away but he was hoping that Amethyst would not see it.

Amethyst sat there waiting for something happen. She felt tried out of nowhere. "I'm tired...." She yawned and closed her eyes and went to sleep. Amethyst was holding onto Liam's arms tightly as she slept. The amethyst lightly glowed as it stayed on Liam's father. A doctor walked in and passed out and fell to the floor. The amethyst is taking energy from around it to help heal his dad faster. The lights flickered a little then went out. The amethyst glowed brightly. He should wake up any minute now.

Liam wondered why he did not feel any more tired than he already had. Maybe it was because he was already drained. He looked as his father slowly opened his eyes and he smiled. "Hey dad." He said quietly. They talked for a while and his father handed his crystal back to him because he was much better. Liam put it back on.

The lights turned on and the doctor got up. "I think I need the rest of the day off...." He walked out of the room and asked someone else to fill in for him. Amethyst woke up later. "D-did it work?" She asked. It was hard for her to move since she is still tired. Amethyst closed her eyes when she heard the answer and back to sleep.

Liam smiled and nodded. "Yes it did so thank you Amethyst." Liam said as he watched the doctor leave. He then looked back at his paprents. His mom was much happier that he was okay. Liam watched his father eat when food was brought in for him.

A few hours later Amethyst woke up again. She yawned and looked at Liam with a smile. "I'm better now." She looked at the wrap that is around her legs and sighed. "I was hoping that was just a dream....I guess not." Amethyst looked at Liam's father and smiled some more. "I'm glad you're better. Liam was really worried about you."

"Good." Liam said smiling at her. He kissed her cheek. "It will be okay. I am really glad that you were able to help him." Liam said to her.

His father smiled. "Well, thank you Amethyst and Liam for coming and helping. Taking the boat was probably really hard in that weather." He said. Liam just nodded at him.

Amethyst nodded as well. "It was." She stretched some and looked at Liam. "I'm ready to head home when you are." A doctor walked in and looked at Liam's dad. He did a couple tests and looked his wife. "Your husband may leave. He seems perfectly fine to me." The doctor left the room.
