Liam tied the boat up when they got back and then got out and went back to his house. He went to the backyard and did as the instructions said. He then walked to the back into the house to get some towels before he came back. "Alright. It should be ready to go now." He said looking at her. "So go ahead and get in."

Amethyst became super sad. She teared up and got up hugging Liam tightly. "I'll miss you. Even if you can come and visit, I'll miss you when you have to leave and come back here." She let go of Liam and handed him the scale she picked off her leg. Amethyst got into the pull and looked at the beach still very sad. Lots of scales grew on her legs but it would take a while for her legs to become a tail. A few hours later Amethyst finally got her tail. She knew what had to happen. It was dark outside so no one was on the beach. When Liam picked her up she kissed him on the lips.

Liam hugged her back. "It will be okay. You know that I will come around for you a lot if I can." He said to her and sighed. He sat down in a chair and waited for her tail to come back. When it did, He went and picked her up. He was a little surprised by the kiss but happily kissed her back. He smiled at her and walked to the ocean. When he got there, he set her down in the water and looked at her. "I will wait here for you like you said too." He said.

When Amethyst was placed in the water she looked at Liam and heard what he said. She smiled and quickly left. She went to the place where she saw the magical mermaid and got them to follow her. Since the magical mermaid is old it took a while. Amethyst deiced to her. When they got to the shore, Amethyst saw Liam and smiled. "Here we go. Hopefully it will work." The old magical mermaid looked at Liam and touched him. "I haven't seen a human in years....So what are you needed me to do?" She looked at Amethyst. "I would like it so he can breath under water, withstand the pressure when we do go underwater and still be able to breath here on land. Maybe give him gills? And they could disappear when he get back to land." The old mermaid nodded. "But you need to get me something. Something that is very valuable. Why don't you go look for it while I'll do what you wanted." Amethyst nodded and swam away going to her place. She has rare gems so that should work. She saw her father and hugged him. "I missed you daddy." She said sounding happy. "You need to follow me." She said. When Amethyst found a gem she swam back to the shore.

When Amethyst went away the old mermaid looked at Liam. "This might hurt a little ok." She did her magic thingy. "Ok. When you ge your head wet your gills will show. They are on the sides of your neck. You should be able to swim faster as well and withstand the pressure under water. When your head is dry the gills will go away." She saw Amethyst and her dad and waved at them. Amethyst swam over and gave the mermaid the gem. She looked at Liam. "Did it work?" She asked. Amethyst's father looked at Liam. "A human. You brought me to a human." Amethyst looked at her dad. "I wanted to become a human. When I did he helped me, even though he thought I was crazy at first. But when scales grew on my legs he believed I am a mermaid. So we came up with a plan to bring me back here." She saw her father's expression soften. "Well if he helped you then he can be with you." He looked back at Liam. "If you hurt my daughter in any way I'll hurt you." Amethyst smiled at Liam. "Don't worry you can just swim back to land." She giggled and swam into the water a little ways. "Come on Liam. I got to show you my house/castle." She smiled and waited for Liam.

Liam sat on the beach and waited not really minding how long it would take. He ended up laying there as he waited. He looked up when he saw Amethyst and the woman and he stood and walked into the water watching the woman. “Okay.” He said as he watched her. He was not really surprised that it hurt a lot. He had been expecting as much. He sat in the water when the pain was so high he could not really stand. He looked at the woman. “Thank you for doing this. It really means a lot.” He said and looked over at Amethyst. “I don’t know. I have not tried swimming yet. She just finished.” He said and looked at her father. “It is nice to meet you sir and I promise that I would never let anything happen to her. I really care about her.” He said to him and looked over at Amethyst and smiled a little. “I guess that is true. He could not really follow me onto land but I would be worried he would catch me before I got back to land. I doubt I will swim as fast as he can.” He said to her. He went underwater and easily followed her to her house. It felt weird to be underwater for so long but he was able to do it comfortably. He swam to her house and looked around at everything. It was odd to be underwater but he thought the house was beautiful. He swam inside and looked around at all of the things that were around. “This is really cool. Your house is pretty amazing.” He said looking at her. He continued to look.

"Thanks." She said when Liam said her house is pretty amazing. Amethyst grabbed Liam's hand and went to her room. "here's my room." She smiled and grabbed her hair brush and began brushing her hair. She went over to Liam and brushed his hair some. Amethyst saw her dad coming into the house. "Liam are you hungry?" He asked. He knows Amethyst is probably hungry and went to get some food. He came back and put the food in Amethyst's food. "Here you go." Amethyst smiled and thanked her dad. She looked at Liam and kissed his cheek. She looked at the plate and saw it is plants. "They are yummy." She grabbed a couple things and ate the plants. "Hey want to go swimming?"

Liam followed her as he looked around. It was very interesting to him. He looked around and then looked at her as she brushed his hair. “Is it really that bad?” He asked her. Liam then looked over at her father. “No I am not very hungry but thanks.” He said and looked back at Amethyst. He was not too fond of all of the plants on her plate. He defiantly preferred his human food. He would just eat when he went back to the surface. “We can go swimming if you want.” He said looking at her. He went out of the house and swam around.

Amethyst ate everything and swam out of the house. She looked at Liam's neck to see the gills. She lightly rubbed her fingers against them so it wouldn't hurt Liam. She smiled and grabbed his hand hand and swam to a place she likes. When they got there she looked at Liam. "Here there is a lot of gems but you can't take any since they are curse. I like them since they are shinny." She looked inside the cave and swam in looking at the beautiful gems. She looked over at Liam and went to him, hugging him from behind. "Do you like being under water so far?" She asked.

Liam smiled at her. “I see. They are really pretty but I do not really want to be cursed so I will happily leave them here. It is probably best that way.” He said looking at her. He swam around and looked at all of them. “It is okay. I do prefer land food. It has a better taste. I am not much of a plant eater. But other than that, I really do not mind it at all. It is just different from what I am used to.” He said and shrugged. “I will get used to it though. I am not that worried.”

Amethyst giggled. "Alright then." She swam around in the water. After a while the water became a little lighter. "It's becoming day time." She sighed and looked down knowing Liam is most likely going to leave. She hugged him tightly. "I'll miss you." She said. Her face went a little red since she is crying but you can't see the tears under water. Amethyst took Liam back to her home and looked at him. "I wish you can stay, but I know you're probably want to see all your human friends." She sighed and hugged Liam again.
