Jessie slowly opened her eyes, groaning and wincing in pain as she lifted herself up to sit up in the bed, she looked over to Robert and gave him a weak smile, ”Hey there, punk.” She joked and leaned over to give him a hug, hugging him softly before letting go and laying back down, ”Go get your booboos fixed, I’m fine.” She smiled at him.

Robert was slightly dozed off and also thinking but heard Jessie's voice and quickly looks over towards her, he was surprised that she just hugged him but gently hugs back before he said: "I'm fine, you need some rest... that bullet for you good, I will just quickly take a shower but would you like anything to eat or drink?" He then stood up and said: "Well if you want some pain killers you will have to eat something, and I am sure your in pain at the moment." He glanced at her quickly then looked out the large window in his room wondering why he cared so much about her. He wasn't the loving or friendly type, he could kill his own men if he needed to even when they where like family to him, but Jessie seemed to be different, he got a lot more worried about her if she wasn't there and found it comforting to be with her. Robert quickly looked back at her.

”Yeah, some pain killers would be nice aaand some food and something to drink too.” Jessie smiled and got a few butterflies, slightly confused by her feelings at the moment but trying to not let that show, ”Thank you, for everything, it really means a lot to me.” Jessie blushed slightly and leaned up in the bed again, groaning and placing her head in her hands, she began to think, ‘Why do I feel this way?’ ‘I can’t be getting feelings for Robert!’ ‘Ugh..Why do this to me heaaart?’

Robert chuckled slightly and said: "You Don't need to thank me, besides your basically like a queen here... everyone would be broken hearted of you left." He slowly started leaving the room and got Jessie some food and water along with some pain killers. After that he walked back towards the room and placed it down then said: "Okay here is your things, try getting more rest afterwards it's nearly night so that might help you a bit." He then grabbed his towel and goes towards the bathroom where he got undressed and took a shower wondering if Jessie will be alright, he knew the chances of them needing to go off towards the hideout they had in a other city. That alone got him annoyed since he enjoyed living in this house but it will be safer for Jessie and Max with his son at the other one for now.

”Alright, thank you so much.” She smiled and took the pills and then reaching over, grabbing the food and drink Robert brought her to eat, eating and drinking them, she layed back down in the bed and stretched out, making herself comfortable and trying to make an effort to fall asleep. Eventually, Jessie fell into a light sleep in the comfortable bed.

Robert finished his shower and got dressed before going back to the room, he smiles slightly seeing Jessie sleeping then walked over at softy kissed her forehead before he left the room going to one of the other. There he got into bed himself having enough of today, it wasn't long before he just stood up again not being able to sleep. He decided to do some work before returning to his room where he got into bed softly not to wake Jessie then he fell asleep.

Jessie rolled over in her sleep, throwing her leg onto Robert and cuddling up to him. Jessie huffed softly in her sleep and let out a soft smile, she was in a great deeper sleep now, dreaming of the future and how life would be, nightmares disappeared inside of her mind once she snuggled up to Robert, not knowing she did

Robert woke up after he felt something move against him, he opened his eyes and glanced down at Jessie then smiles and placed his arm around her before closing his eyes and trying to fall asleep again, which he did and rather quickly. He felt a lot more comfortable with her around like this and still didn't know why he was so overprotective when it came to protecting her.

Jessie is awoken by the sun hitting her face, she wakes up and stretches, looking down and blushing deeply, rubbing the back of her neck nervously and not knowing what to think, Jessie got out of bed slowly, not trying to wake Robert up as she knew he needed the rest, Jessie walked downstairs and grabbed some bacon and eggs to begin cooking for the household, since she was the only one awake.

Robert was slowly waking up when he felt movement, he heard Jessie leaving the room then slightly groans not really wanting to get up. He soon however did stand up and got dressed before going down stairs and seeing her cook. He softly chuckled and walked toward her run decided to slightly tease her so placed his arms around her from behind while resting his chin on her shoulder and whispering: "So sweetheart why did you leave bed so early." He slightly smirks then looks down at the food she was making.
