~ Time Skip ~

Eider woke up with his alarm and stared at the ceiling, excitement tingling inside him. Today he was getting married. He rolled out of bed, gently shaking Mavis awake, and got up to get ready. Their wedding wasn't until later that evening, but he still had a lot to do before then. He had to get his suit pressed and get his hair cut, call like a million people, and set up most of the wedding, while avoiding Mavis almost the whole time. He was sure she had some kind of extremely fancy and complicated outfit planned out, and would probably be getting ready most of the day, what with her dress, hair, and makeup. "Rise and shine, beautiful. It's our big day," he said cheerfully, pulling a sweatshirt over his bare torso. The florists shop opened at 8:00, and he was determined to be the first one there. "I have to get the flowers, then hire the musicians, then go visit our photographer and see their work, then call the my best man Simon Jr., then take my suit to the tailors, and like 10 more things after that," he said, getting ready in the dark. He was ready in a few minutes. He ran over to kiss Mavis before he left.

She kissed Eider back then rolled over. Going back asleep and sprawling out on his bed.

As soon as Eider left, he began calling his friends on the drive to the florists'. "Hey Simon. Yea, I'm out of the house. You remember to bring the wedding bands? Great." "Yo Dad, how's it going? Make sure you remind Mom to bring the plane tickets I told her to hold onto. I want to show Mavis what our honeymoon will be after the wedding." "Liam! I swear, if you forget the champagne, I will hunt you down and kill you." He had made 10 calls by the time he arrived at the florists'.

Mavis got up and opened the door. Jess and Eli came in. They forced Mavis to sit down while they done her make up and hair.

Eider spent the next few hours running around town doing chores for the wedding. He wasn't ready to actually get dressed up until 4:00, an hour and a half before the actual ceremony. He went to pick up his suit and brought it to his parents' house, where Josh tidied him up. "Where's Mom?" he said when he got there, and his father explained she was setting up the wedding, putting out tables and flower arrangements and rolling the red carpet down the aisle. He let his father do his tie for him, even though he could do it himself. It was a father-son moment, which they hadn't had in a long time. Then Josh messed with his son's hair, which was now much shorter than in high school. His hair was pale silver that got slightly darker at the roots, and his scarlet eyes were stark contrast to the his light skin and hair. He combed out Eider's hair and put a little gel in it to keep it from falling in his eyes, then used a bit of magic to snip of the slightly longer pieces. Eider always kept his hair spiked like ice shards, but even if he tried to change it his powers wouldn't allow him. His hair just always looked like an explosion went off in his head. "Done," Josh said, stepping back to admire his work. Eider looked in the mirror and smiled. He loved his short hair look so much better than his old look. Josh straightened Eider's tie and his jacket, grinning. "I can't believe my son's getting married. Why, it feels like only yesterday I was the one getting married to your mother," he said, a distant look appearing in his eyes. "Dad, that's because you're immortal. A few years is like a day to you," Eider said, rolling his eyes. Josh smirked. "You watch your mouth boy, or I might have to make a speech at your wedding." The two spent the next few minutes finishing getting Eider ready before father and son had to separate. "Thanks for your help Dad. I'll see you tonight." Eider got in his car and drove off to pick up the musicians, a group of college buddies who didn't have a car. He hoped they didn't screw things up for he and Mavis.

His hair used to be like this. Now it's more like this minus the beard.

Mavis was ready, she was helping Jess get ready. Jess was her maid of honour, and Mavis loved her. Jess wasn't going to be speaking as Mavis wanted her to be near her if she was gonna be in a warm crowded room.

Eider was in the car on the way to the wedding. His plan was to meet his best man, Oliver, in the parking lot, where his friend would change into the suit Eider brought him and do his hair in the back of the car. Eider pulled into a parking spot and smiled, seeing Oliver running up in the rearview mirror. "Hey, Oli," Eider said with a grin when he opened the door. "What's up, Mr. Groom?Got that suit?" Oliver asked, and Eider handed it to him. Oliver had a speech planned out to tell at the wedding, as well as a short story to make fun of Eider. If none Mavis's friends wanted to talk, Eider had another friend named Ileana who said she'd speak if she had to.
