She laughed a little rubbing the back of her neck "Sooo the back stairwell leads into the hall and I sort of used a laundry basket and cardboard as a sled and hit the wall a bit too hard" he said "I was in a lot of trouble with my parents"

Brendon chuckled as he pictured it, having a hard time seeing Alex in that light. “Yo, that’s wild.” He scratched Sinatra’s chest.

Alex blushed "Yea uhhh I was not a great child" she laughed "You ever do anything bad as a kid?"

“I’m sure in some old man’s attic somewhere is a grand scroll of every evil I’ve committed.” Brendon snorted a little, setting Sinatra back down.

Alex laughed "Not what I meant" she teased and sighed "But we are here now right?"

Brendon shrugged. “Yeah. Now I can be naughty all I want.” He grinned, clearly joking, maybe or maybe not trying to press Alex’s buttons a little just to see if she’s take it well.

Alex laughed and playfully jabbed him in the ribs "Oh is that so?" She said teasing and smiled

“Hmm you tell me.” Brendon snickered, going to tickle her under her arm a little bit.

Alex laughed and squirmed as he tickled her shaking her head and wrapped her arms around him "Thank you for not being all awkward and skittish just because of my title…" she said hugging him "I know you can't understand how much I appreciate it but it really does matter to me"
